Abstract: The finishing agent contains a phosphazene of formula (I): (where R1 is a 1-10C (un)satd., branched/straight chain (cyclo)aliphatic, (opt. nitrated) aromatic, alkylaromatic or arylaliphatic gp., L is F, Cl or Br, -NR2R3, OH or -OR2 in which R2 and R3 may be H or a 1-18C (un)satd., straight chain/branched (cyclo)alkyl gp. and in which R3 may also be phenyl, or in which R2 and R3 can form a heterocycle with the N atom and Z is L or -N=PR3'). (I) are esp. used for heavy cotton fabrics (over 200g/m2). (2) are odourless and water -resistant.
