Abstract: La presente invención se refiere a compuestos de 1-(azolin-2-il)amino-1,2-difeniletano de la fórmula general I en donde A es un radical de las fórmula A1 o A2: y en donde m es 0,1,2,3,4 o 5,n es 0,1,2,3,4 o 5, X es azufre u oxígeno, y en donde las variables R1, R2, R3, R4, R5a, R5b, R5c, R5d son tal como se definieron en las reivindicaciones, y a sus sales aceptables en agricultura. La invención también se refiere a un método para combatir plagas animales, seleccionadas de insectos, arácnidos y nematodos y a un método para proteger los cultivos del ataque o la infestación de insectos, arácnidos o nematodos, que comprende poner en contacto un cultivo con una cantidad de eficacia plaguicida de un compuesto de 1-(azolin-2-il)amino-1,2-difeniletano de la fórmula general I y/o al menos una de sus sales.
