This composition comprises chloroacetamide herbicide taken in the concentration at least about 40 mole % and substance reducing precipitation temperature is taken in the amount sufficient to provide preparing chloroacetamide-free composition at temperature lower by about 10 C. Abstract: A composition suitable as a herbicide comprises at least about a 40 mole percent concentration of a chloroacetamide herbicide and a chloroacetamide precipitation temperature-lowering agent. The precipitation temperature-lowering agent is present in a sufficient quantity that the composition is substantially free from solid chloroacetamide at a temperature less than 100C and has the formula (I) wherein R1 is chlorine or methoxy, and R2 is hydrogen, halogen, alkyl, haloalkyl or alkyl ether. The chloroacetamide herbicide can be alachlor, metolachlor, acetochlor, metazachlor, diethatyl, propachlor or a thiophenamine.
