    Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide an improved stabilizing method, producing notably stable objects in order to form an oxide film under control by oxygen-containing inert gas to be stabilized for corrosion, especially for oxidation. CONSTITUTION: In a stabilizing method of needle-like ferromagnetic metallic particles which are substantially made of iron, by reacting metallic particles and oxygen-containing inert gas in two stages provided that oxygen content of the inert gas in the first stage does not exceed 2 vol%, the oxygen/inert gas mixture having steam content in a relative humidity range of 70-95% and oxygen content in 10-20 vol% is to be applied in the second stage.
