    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recording medium having a high recording density by executing square wave recording in such a manner that the single phase deviating less than 5 deg. from the numerical value at which the phase of Fourier transform at the same wavelength is previously obtd. is measured in the case the square wave recording is executed. SOLUTION: The square wave signals having a frequency of 96kHz are recorded on a tape. These signals are then scanned by a digitizer read by a reading head. The pulses are obtd. by averaging the read pulses at the center. The average values of the 126 pulses in total number is obtd. In such a case, the phase response is (for example, about 5MHz) inclination 0 at the average frequency. The distinct comparison of different curves is thereby made possible.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a coupling agent having improved mechanical characteristics, such as, limit strength, hardness, wear resistance and elasticity, and exhibiting a high crosslinking speed, by causing the coupling agent to contain polyurethane made of predetermined components and a material having a specified molecular weight. CONSTITUTION: Polyurethane contains 1mol of diol having an average molecular weight of 400-4000, 0.3-9mol of aliphatic compound having 2-18 carbon atoms, 0.3-9mol of aromatic diol having 8-30 carbon atoms, and 0.01-1mol of trivalent alcohol having 3-8 carbon atoms. The polyurethane further contains 0.01-1mol of multivalent alcohol having 3-14 carbon atoms and tertiary amino group, and diisocyanate having 6-30 carbon atoms with a molar ratio of isocyanate group to all hydroxyl groups being 1.05:1-1.4:1. This polyurethane and a predetermined compound are caused to react under specified conditions to provide a material having an average molecular weight of 4000-30000, thereby forming a magnetic recording medium.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To manufacture a desired anti-copy film easily and precisely by separating a film web into individual copy films and folding each of the copy films into anti-copy film layers along a partition line. CONSTITUTION: When each of the opposite side surfaces of a section I corresponding to a first layer is printed with opaque or reflective, elongate coatings S1, S2 and layers are successively stacked one on another, a coating S3 is applied only onto a side surface of a section II of a second layer oppositely oriented to the first layer. When layers are successively superposed one on another, coatings S1, S2, S3 are arranged regularly and repeatedly so as to provide correct coatings. After application of coatings, a film web 6 is separated into individual anti-copy films, following which each of the anti-copy film is folded along a partition line 7, whereby a copy film ready for use can be obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To easily and appropriately support a wound roll by providing a spindle with a hollow support member having a longitudinal moving member inside, and pressure-supporting one end of the longitudinal moving member to a wound roll conveying device, while providing the other end with a valve for pressing a pressure medium into a bellows member of the spindle. CONSTITUTION: A spindle for supporting a tape roll 21 on a tape wound spool 20 is provided with a hollow support member 10 having a longitudinal moving member 11 inside. The longitudinal moving member 11 is provided with an outer part 11A and an inner part 11B having chucking parts 12 at the free ends. The spindle 7 is provided with a bellows member 13, and a bendable part 14 is provided on the inner surface of the bellows member 13. One end of the longitudinal moving member 11 is pressure-supported to a support plate member 16 of the roll conveying device by a spring 15, and the other end is provided with a valve 17 for pressing a pressure medium into the bellows member 13. Spindles 7', 7" in the resting state and operating state are respectively positioned as in the upper and lower half parts of a center line M.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To prepare a magnetic recording medium by one operating process by using a casting extruder wherein a magnet with a shape of rectangular parallelepiped is arranged in parallel to a layer medium behind the layer medium and an opening part of the extruder exists in facing to the top end edge of the magnet. CONSTITUTION: Two layers are applied on a polyethylene terephthalate layer medium with a thickness of approximately 7 μm in a biaxial casting apparatus with a casting speed of approximately 100 m/min. In this case, the layer thickness of the top side layer is approximately 8 μm and the layer thickness of the bottom side layer is approximately 1.6 μm. Successively, a magnetic recording medium is cut into a width of approximately 8 mm. It is possible thereby to incorporate mainly a metal powder or metal powder alloy which does not spoil technical quality of a recording apparatus into the recording medium as magnetizable particles and to prepare it by one operating process.
