Abstract: PURPOSE: To enable the production of a magnetic recording medium which has residual magnetism to make coercive magnetic field intensity 10kA/m or above in a direction orthogonal with a tape traveling direction and the magnetic recording medium of which the remaining quality does not change. CONSTITUTION: Noble gaseous flow 7 is passed directly toward the front surface of a polymer substrate sheet 2 while a layer of a magnetic metal or magnetic alloy is formed on the polymer sheet. The relative noble flow rate of this time is so regulated as to attain 1.0.10 to 6.9.10 . The noble gas or noble gaseous mixture or more particularly argon is incorporated into the formed metallic thin layer.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To manufacture a desired anti-copy film easily and precisely by separating a film web into individual copy films and folding each of the copy films into anti-copy film layers along a partition line. CONSTITUTION: When each of the opposite side surfaces of a section I corresponding to a first layer is printed with opaque or reflective, elongate coatings S1, S2 and layers are successively stacked one on another, a coating S3 is applied only onto a side surface of a section II of a second layer oppositely oriented to the first layer. When layers are successively superposed one on another, coatings S1, S2, S3 are arranged regularly and repeatedly so as to provide correct coatings. After application of coatings, a film web 6 is separated into individual anti-copy films, following which each of the anti-copy film is folded along a partition line 7, whereby a copy film ready for use can be obtained.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To make an anti-copy film only cover part of a document to be covered by making the size of the film smaller than the preset size of the document. CONSTITUTION: An anti-copy film is put on the entire or partial surface of a document 2 to be covered, comprises a transparent film material, and entirely or partially contains a film 3 in which opaque or reflecting sections 5 are regularly arranged in the thickness direction of the film material. Because of the opaque or reflecting sections 5, the film becomes opaque when the film is looked from the perpendicular direction 6 corresponding to the copying direction and transparent from an oblique direction corresponding to the direction 7 of the field of view like as the adjustable rolling-up blind. This anti-copy film is manufactured in a size smaller than the size of the document 2 so that the film can be used over a wide extent and can be handled easily. Therefore, a limited part, such as the column section, line section, address section, etc., of the document can be made uncopiable.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily produce electrodes having an cover layer of uniform thickness and contacts uncovered, by applying a mixture of solid material which reversibly intakes and releases lithium and a binder, on an appropriately moving carrier such that some region is uncovered and dividing in a specific angle. SOLUTION: By applying a mixture of solid material which reversibly intakes and releases lithium and a binder or a compound which may invert to a binder on a conductive carrier with a substantially linear and derivative motion with respect to the covering apparatus, some region of the conductive carrier corresponding to the both ends of the covering apparatus is formed uncovered. Then, by dividing the conductive carrier at a specific angle of 5 to 85 degrees against the line perpendicular to the linear relative movement, electrodes are easily produced of parallel strips, having a uniform thickness of covering mixture with uncovered contacts.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a magnetic recording medium having good wear resistance by applying a magnetic layer on the main surface on one side of a web-like nonmagnetic substrate and applying a high mol.wt. binder and nonmagnetic additives on the rear surface layer on the opposite side of the main surface. CONSTITUTION: This magnetic recording medium consists of the web-like nonmagnetic substrate, the magnetic layer applied on the main surface on one side of this substrate and the rear surface layer formed on the opposite side of the main surface of the substrate from the high mol.wt. binder and nonmagnetic additives. The rear surface layer is formed by dispersing an org. polymer and a mixture composed of 2.5 to 25vol.% filler, 0.5 to 3vol.% auxiliary pigment and 1 to 10vol.% polyolefin of spherical particles having an average grain size of 1 to 1000μm at a density of 0.9 to 1.0 in the shape of the spherical particles. In addition, the resulted dispersion is applied on the front surface of the substrate existing on the opposite side of the magnetic layer at a layer thickness of such extent that a layer thickness of 0.1 to 2.0μm arises after the solidification of the rear surface layer. As a result, the magnetic recording medium having the excellent wear resistance and wear on the rear surface layer of the magnetic recording medium and simultaneously having transparency to light is obtd.
