Abstract:
Polyurethane foams are new when obtained by reaction of polyisocyanates with isocyanate-reactive components including by weight a combination of (A) acrylate polyols of molecular weight 1500-15000 (10-60%); (B) polyetherpolyols of molecular weight 2500-8000 containing below 35 wt.% ethylene oxide-rich polyetherpolyols (20-60%); and (C) polyols of molecular weight 400-2499 (1-35%). Independent claims are also included for (i) the use of acrylate polyols in the production of viscoelastic polyurethane flexible foams; and (ii) the above preparation for the novel polyurethane foams.
