Abstract:
The present invention relates to the use of a solvent selected from the group consisting of glycol ether, glycerin ether, and mixtures thereof for stabilizing at least one (thio)phosphoric acid triamide in a fertilizer composition (1) comprising a urea-containing fertilizer (F1) and a urease inhibitor formulation (Ul) comprising a mixture (A) comprising the at least one (thio)phosphoric acid triamide and the solvent (C), wherein the inhibitor formulation (Ul) is polymer free. Further, the present invention relates to a urease inhibitor formulation (Ul) and to a fertilizer composition (1) each comprising at least one (thio)phosphoric acid triamide and specific solvents.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to novel isolated bacterial strains, which are members of the genus Paenibacillus , originally isolated from soil and showing antagonistic activity against a broad range of pathogens and being capable of producing antimicrobial metabolites. It was found that the strains Lu16774 and Lu17007 belong to a novel subspecies named Paenibacillus polymyxa ssp. plantarum while the strain Lu17015 belongs to a novel species which is proposed to be Paenibacillus epiphyticus . The present invention also relates to microbial pesticide compositions comprising at least one of such novel bacterial strains, whole culture broth or a cell-free extract or a fraction thereof or at least one metabolite thereof, and/or a mutant of at least one of said novel bacterial strains having all the identifying characteristics of the respective bacterial strain or whole culture broth, cell-free extract, fraction and/or metabolite of the mutant thereof showing antagonistic activity against plant pathogens. The present invention also relates to a method of controlling or suppressing plant pathogens or preventing plant pathogen infections by applying such composition. The present invention also relates to novel fusaricidin-type compounds which are metabolites produced by the strains of the present invention.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of applying an aqueous, pesticide-comprising dispersion of a polyurethane which is composed of diisocyanates (a) and diols (b), to plants or plant parts. Furthermore, the invention relates to an aqueous, pesticide-comprising dispersion of a polyurethane which is composed of diisocyanates (a) and diols (b). It furthermore relates to the use of the dispersion for controlling phytopathogenic fungi and/or undesired plant growth and/or undesired attack by insect or mites and/or for regulating the growth of plants, by allowing the dispersion to act on the respective pests, their environment and/or the plants to be protected from the respective pest, on plant parts, on the soil and/or on undesired plants and/or on the useful plants and/or their environment.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for applying an aqueous, pesticide-containing dispersion of a polyurethane which is a reaction product of at least one polyol (A) and at least one polyisocyanate (B) onto plants or plant parts. The invention also relates to an aqueous, pesticide-containing dispersion of a polyurethane which is a reaction product of at least one polyol (A) and at least one polyisocyanate (B). The invention further relates to the use of the dispersion for controlling phytopathogenic fungi and/or undesired plant growth and/or undesired insect or mite infestation and/or for regulating the growth of plants by letting the dispersion act on the respective pests, their biotope and/or the plants and plant parts to be protected from the respective pests, the soil and/or on undesired plants and/or useful plants and/or their biotope.
Abstract:
The present invention encompasses aqueous dispersions comprising a nanoparticulate formulation of active crop protection ingredients, in which the nanoparticles have core-shell structures with a mean particle diameter of 0.05 to 2.0 µm and the active crop protection ingredient is present in the core in X-ray-amorphous form together with one or more polymers, and the shell consists of a stabilized envelope matrix preparable by a process which is characterized in that (a) a solution of the active crop protection ingredient in a water-miscible organic solvent is prepared, (b) the solution obtained in step (a) is mixed with the core polymer or a solution of the core polymer in a water-miscible organic solvent, the polymer being insoluble or only partly soluble in water or aqueous solutions or water-solvent mixtures; and (c) the mixture resulting from (b) is contacted with an aqueous solution comprising components of the envelope matrix.
