    Abstract: Proteina precursora que comprende una secuencia repetitiva escindible de elementos de peptido (Pep) deseados y elementos de peptido auxiliar (Aux), de la formula general (Pep-Aux)x o (Aux-Pep)x en donde x es >1, donde los elementos Aux son identicos o diferentes y comprenden elementos de secuencia de aminoacidos que otorgan a la proteina precursora propiedades autoensamblantes, donde el elemento Aux comprende un peptido autoensamblante (elemento (SA)) donde el elemento SA contiene al menos uno de los siguientes motivos de secuencia: An (Motivo 1) (GA)m (Motivo 2) Vn (Motivo 3) (VA)m (Motivo 4) (VVAA)o (Motivo 5) en donde A representa alanina, G giclina, V valina, n un valor entero de 8 a 12, m un valor entero de 4 a 10, y o un valor entero de 2 a 6; y los elementos Pep son iguales o distintos, y comprenden la secuencia de aminoacidos de la molecula del peptido igual o distinta, con una longitud de la secuencia de 5 - 70 radicales de aminoacido, y los elementos Pep estan flanqueados por secuencias de escision que posibilitan una escision especifica de los elementos Pep desde la proteina precursora, donde los elementos Pep y Aux estan vinculados unos con otros mediante peptidos y el enlace peptidico puede escindirse quimicamente de forma especifica, donde las secuencias de escision comprenden un motivo de secuencia, seleccionado entre NG y DP.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a precursor protein comprising a cleavable sequence of desired peptide (Pep) elements and auxiliary peptide (Aux’) elements of the general formula (Pep-Aux’)x or (Aux’-Pep)x where x >1, wherein: the Aux’ elements are identical or different and comprise an amphiphilic alphahelix-forming peptide, said amphiphilic peptide comprising a sequence segment of at least seven peptidically linked amino acids capable of forming an amphiphilic alpha-helix, wherein the amino acid residues of said helix in its vertical projection are separated into a hydrophobic half and a hydrophilic half of the helix, the hydrophobic half of the helix having at least 3 adjacent, in the vertical projection, identical or different hydrophobic amino acid residues, and the hydrophilic half of the helix having at least 3 adjacent, in the vertical projection, identical or different hydrophilic amino acid residues; the Pep elements are identical or different and comprise the amino acid sequence of identical or different peptide molecules having a sequence length of 5 to 70 amino acid residues; the Pep elements are flanked by cleavage sequences which enable the Pep elements to be specifically cleaved out of the precursor protein; and Pep is a cationic antimicrobial peptide and Aux’ is an anionic peptide forming an amphiphilic alpha helix. Further disclosed is the use of an amphiphilic peptide as protective peptide for recombinantly producing an antimicrobial desired peptide different therefrom; wherein said amphiphilic peptide comprises a sequence section of at least seven peptidically linked amino acids capable of forming an amphiphilic alpha-helix, wherein the amino acid residues of said helix in its vertical projection are separated into a hydrophobic half and a hydrophilic half of the helix, the hydrophobic half of the helix having at least 3 adjacent, in the vertical projection, identical or different hydrophobic amino acid residues, and the hydrophilic half of the helix having at least 3 adjacent, in the vertical projection, identical or different hydrophilic amino acid residues.
