Abstract: The invention relates to an electrophoretic display, comprising electrodes and cells containing at least one kind of ionic, monochrome particles, a non-polar liquid and a dispersant, wherein the ionic, monochrome particles of at least one kind are essentially aggregates consisting of a carbon containing pigment and a cationic pigment orcationic pigment derivative, and the dispersantis selected from the group consisting of polyacrylates, polyesters, polyurethanes and copolymers, with the proviso that the cationic pigment or cationic pigment derivative is not a reaction product of carbonblack with diazotated procaine hydrochloride. In general, the whole quantity of the pigment and the main part, preferably at least 80%, most preferred from 95% to 100%, of the whole cationic pigment or cationic pigment derivativepresent within the cells is comprised in the aggregates, with essentially no pigment and only a minor part of the cationic pigment or cationic pigment derivative physically distinct from the aggregates.

Abstract: La invención se refiere a una pantalla electroforética que contiene electrodos y celdas que contienen al menos una clase de partículas monocromas iónicas, un líquido no polar y un dispersante, en donde las partículas monocromas, jónicas, de al menos una clase, son esencialmente agregados consistentes en un pigmento que contiene carbono y un pigmento catiónico o derivado de pigmento catiónico, y los dispersantes se seleccionan del grupo que consiste en poliacrilatos, poliésteres, poliuretanos y copolímeros, con la condición que el pigmento catiónico o derivado de pigmento catiónico no sea un producto de reacción de negro de humo con clorhidrato de procaína diazotada En general, toda la cantidad del pigmento y la parte principal, preferentemente al menos 80%, más preferido desde 95 hasta 100% de todo el pigmento catiónico o derivado del pigmento catiónico presente dentro de las celdas está compuesto en los agregados, prácticamente sin pigmento y solo una parte menor del pigmento catiónico o derivado del pigmento catiónico físicamente diferente de los agregados.
