Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixture (compound) markedly effective for exhibiting sure signs in controlling harmful fungi. SOLUTION: There is a fungicide mixture containing as active components (a) an amide compound represented by formula Ib: [wherein R 4 is a halogen; and R 11 is a halo-substituted phenyl], and (b) a specified compound of carboxamide (dimethomorph or flumetover) and/or (c) a specified valine amide, wherein the weight ratio of the amide compound Ib to the specified carboxamide and/or compound (c) is 20:1 to 1:20. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixture which has improved efficacy against harmful fungi useful in a reduced total amount of active ingredients applied (a synergistic mixture), in order to reduce the application amount and to improve the activity spectra of known compounds. SOLUTION: This fungicidal mixture comprises an amide compound (a), as an active compound, represented by formula Ib in a synergistically effective amount, and a specific N-acetonyl benzamide (b) or a salt or adduct thereof and the like. Abstract:
Fungicidal mixtures, comprising a) benzophenones of the formula I, in which R 1 is chlorine, methyl, methoxy, acetoxy, pivaloyloxy or hydroxyl; R 2 is chlorine or methyl; R 3 is hydrogen, halogen or methyl; and R 4 is C 1 -C 6 -alkyl or benzyl, where the phenyl moiety of the benzyl radical may carry a halogen or methyl substituent, and b) amide compounds of the formula II in which R 6 and R 7 are halogen nitro, cyano, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, haloalkyl, haloalkenyl, haloalkynyl, alkoxy, haloalkoxy, alkylthio, haloalkylthio, alkylsulfinyl or alkylsulfonyl; x is 1, 2, 3 or 4; and y is 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5; in a synergistically effective amount, methods for controlling harmful fungi using mixtures of the compounds I and II and compositions comprising them are described.
Abstract:
Fungicidal mixtures comprise as active componentsa) an amide compound of the formula I in whichA is an aryl group or an aromatic or non-aromatic, 5- or 6-membered heterocycle which has from 1 to 3 hetero atoms which are selected from O, N and S; where the aryl group or the heterocycle may or may not have 1, 2 or 3 substituents which are selected, independently of one another, from alkyl, halogen, CHF2, CF3, alkoxy, haloalkoxy, alkylthio, alkylsulfinyl and alkylsulfonyl;R1 is a hydrogen atom;R2 is a phenyl or cycloalkyl group which may or may not have 1, 2 or 3 substituents which are selected, independently of one another, from alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, alkoxy, alkenyloxy, alkynyloxy, cycloalkyl, cycloalkenyl, cycloalkyloxy, cycloalkenyloxy, phenyl and halogen, where the aliphatic and cycloaliphatic radicals may be partially or fully halogenated and/or the cycloaliphatic radicals may be substituted by from 1 to 3 alkyl groups and where the phenyl group may have from 1 to 5 halogen atoms and/or from 1 to 3 substituents which are selected, independently of one another, from alkyl, haloalkyl, alkoxy, haloalkoxy, alkylthio and haloalkylthio, and where the amidic phenyl group may or may not be condensed with a saturated 5-membered ring which may or may not be substituted by one or more alkyl groups and/or may have a hetero atom selected from O and S, andb) an azole derivative IIin a synergistically effective amount.
