Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for the preparation of double metal cyanide (DMC) catalysts which are used in the production of polyether polyols and the DMC catalysts obtained. The DMC catalysts show enhanced performance in alkoxylation reactions, so that lower concentrations of the DMC catalyst can be used in polyether polyol production.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a dispersion containing (i) at least one liquid polymer and (ii) at least one polymer particle mixture comprising at least one meltable solid substance and at least one copolymer (C). Said at least one copolymer (C) is a copolymer consisting of at least one a,ß-ethylenically unsaturated monomer and at least one polymerisable polymer from the class of liquid polymers in (i). The invention also relates to a method for the production of said dispersion, to the use of said dispersion for producing polyurethanes, and to a method for producing polyurethanes, according to which at least one dispersion of said type is reacted with at least one polyisocyanate.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for producing polyether polyols by means of catalytic ring-opening polymerization, wherein at least one cyclic precatalyst compound containing nitrogen is used.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a foamed polyurethane which is obtainable by mixing a) polyisocyanates, b) high-molecular compounds carrying groups that are reactive to isocyanate groups, c) solid particles, d) propellants, e) optionally chain extenders, cross-linking agents or mixtures thereof, f) optionally a catalyst and g) optionally other additives, to give a reaction mixture and allowing said mixture to react, the percentage of chain extenders being less than 6% by weight, based on the overall weight of components a) to f), the solid particle content being more than 15% by weight, based on the overall weight of components a) to f), and the average functionality of the high-molecular compounds carrying groups that are reactive to isocyanate groups being less than 2.5. The invention further relates to a molded body which contains a foamed polyurethane of the invention, to a method for producing the foamed polyurethane and to the use of a molded body according to the invention as a shoe sole.
