    Abstract: Procedimiento para la coagulación exenta de sales de dispersiones de polímeros en un dispositivo rotor/estator con un caballete, una carcasa (1), con un eje rotativo alojado en la misma, en cuyo extremo del lado de la carcasa está fijado un rotor (2) configurado con superficie cónica, al que está asignado concéntricamente un estator (3) fijado en la carcasa, formando rotor (2) y estator (3) con sus superficies enfrentadas una ranura de cizallamiento (4) que está rodeada de un espacio anular (5), al que está preconectado un manguito de alimentación (6) axial, y está postconectado al menos un manguito de descarga (7) radial, estando alojados rotor (2) y estator (3) de manera desplazable axialmente para el ajuste de la anchura de ranura, que está caracterizado porque la dispersión de polímero se alimenta a través del manguito de alimentación axial (6), se transporta a través de la ranura de cizallamiento (4) entre rotor (2) y estator (3), y en este caso precipita bajo velocidad de cizallamiento predeterminada y de formación de cizallamiento, y se descarga a través del manguito de salida radial (7), y lavándose a través de al menos una perforación en el conducto tubular poco antes del dispositivo rotor/estator y/o a través de al menos un manguito de enjuague (8) en la zona del manguito de alimentación axial (6) en la carcasa (1) y/o en el estator (3) con agua, preferentemente de manera sincronizada.

    Abstract: A process for the salt-free coagulation of polymer dispersions in a rotor/stator assembly is disclosed. The rotor/stator assembly includes a casing, a rotor shaft rotatably mounted within the casing, a rotor having a conical surface affixed to the rotor shaft, and a stator affixed to the casing and concentrically associated with the rotor. The conical surface faces a surface of the stator to form an adjustable shear gap, which is surrounded by an annular space. A polymer dispersion is fed into the assembly and conveyed through the shear gap. During this conveyance, the polymer dispersion is precipitated at a predetermined shear rate and a predetermined shear deformation. The polymer dispersion is discharged from the assembly through an outlet neck, and the assembly is flushed with water using one or more ports formed in at least one of a pipeline coupled to the axial feed neck, the stator, and the casing.
