Abstract: In the present invention new Bacillus strains are provided. More specifically, Bacillus strains having extracellular hydrolase activity and demonstrating reduced malodor after incubation for at least 5 days for at least 25 °C in a lactose-free whole milk sample compared to a non- inoculated lactose-free whole milk sample, a composition comprising these strains and methods using the new Bacillus strains are provided.
