    Abstract: Liquid enzyme preparation containing component (a): at least one salt according to general formula (I) (R2)3N+-(CH2)nC(R3)(R4)-(O-X)m-O-C(O)-R1 A- wherein n is selected from 1 to 12, m is selected from zero to 50, R1 is selected from C1-C10-alkyl, linear or branched, and C6-C10-aryl, wherein R1 may bear one or more hydroxyl or C=O or COOH groups, partially or fully neutralized, if applicable, R2 are same or different and selected from C1-C10-alkyl, phenyl, R3 and R4 are same or different and selected from hydrogen and C1-C4-alkyl, X is C2-C4-alkylen, and A- is an inorganic or organic counteranion, component (b): at least one enzyme selected from hydrolases (EC 3), and optionally component (c): at least one compound selected from enzyme stabilizers different from component (a), preservatives, and surfactants.

    Abstract: Process for the preparation of microcapsules comprising the steps (a) preparation of an aqueous biphasic system by mixing (i) component (a1 ) comprising a component A selected from the group of polymers consisting of polyethylene glycol vinyl acetate comb polymers, polycarboxylates, polyethers, polyaspartates, polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyamines, and polylysine; wherein component (a1 ) is a monophasic system at 23°C, and forms a monophasic system at 23°C if mixed with water in the range of from 1 :99 to 99:1 by weight, and (ii) component (a2) containing water and a water-soluble component B, wherein water-soluble component B is different from component A, and wherein (a2) is a monophasic system at 23°C, and (iii) at least one monomer (a3), and (iv) optionally at least one initiator (a4), wherein (a1 ), (a2), (a3), and (a4) can be mixed together in any order or simultaneously, followed by (b) optionally shearing of the biphasic system to form an emulsion, and (c) polymerization of monomer (a3).

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for removing stain or soil from laundry, comprising contacting the laundry with a laundry detergent composition comprising: (a)at least one builder or co-builder which is an aminocarboxylate selected from the group consisting of methylglycine diacetate (MGDA), iminodisuccinic acid (IDS), glutamic acid diacetate (GLDA), and ethylenediaminedisuccinic acid (EDDS), polyasparatic acid, and salts thereof; (b)a polymer which is (b1)an ethoxylated polyethylenimin with an average molecular weight M W in the range from 3,000 to 250,000 g/mol which has 80 to 99% by weight ethylene oxide side chains, based on total ethoxylated polyethylenimine, and/or (b2)a polymer which is an ethoxylated hexamethylene diamine, quaternized and optionally sulfated with an average molecular weight M W in the range from 2,000 to 0,000 g/mol, and mixtures thereof; and (c)a protease. The present invention also relates to the use of such compositions for removing stain or soil from laundry, to such laundry compositions themselves and their manufacturing process, as well as to methods of improving stain-removal ability of a protease in laundry detergent compositions.
