The present invention relates to a composition comprising pesticide and polyalkylene oxide. The present invention further relates to pyrrolidone alkylene oxides and to the use thereof in agrochemical formulations. The present invention further relates to the use of the composition according to the invention to control phytopathogenic fungi and/or undesired plant growth and/or undesired insect or mite infestation and/or to regulate the growth of plants. The present invention further relates to the use of a composition according to the invention to control undesired insect or mite infestations on plants and/or to control phytopathogenic fungi and/or to control undesired plant growth, wherein seeds of crops are treated with the composition. Finally, the present invention further relates to seed treated with the composition according to the invention. The present invention comprises combinations of preferred characteristics with other preferred characteristics.

The present invention relates to a thickener system which is suitable for preparing a thickener composition and consists of (A) at least one anionic surfactant A and (B) at least one polymer B which comprises at least one hydrophobic group and at least one hydrophilic group, the concentration of the polymer B in the thickener composition being below the overlap concentration c* of the polymer, to the use of an inventive thickener system for preparing a thickener composition, to a thickener composition comprising an inventive thickener system and to the use of inventive thickener compositions.

The present invention relates to a composition with pH-dependant viscosity, comprising (A) at least one surfactant of the general formula (I), (R1-[(O-(CH2)2)x1(O-CH(CH3)CH2)x2]O)kP(=O)(OH)3-k, wherein the sequence of the alkenoxy units is optional, R1 is selected from linear or branched C12-C22-alkyl, C12-C22-alkenyl, C12-C22-alkinyl, (C11-C21-alkyl)carbonyl, (C11-C21-alkenyl)carbonyl and (C11-C21-alkinyl)carbonyl, k is 1 or 2, and x1 and x2 independently from each other are an integer from 0 to 20, wherein the sum of x1 und x2is a number from 1 to 20, and (B) at least one thickener, comprising at least two hydrophobic groups R2, which are connected with each other via a bridging hydrophilic group (a). Abstract:
The present invention relates to compositions for foam extinguishants which do not comprise any organofluorine compounds and nevertheless meet the highest demands on the extinguishing properties. The inventive compositions comprise at least one fatty alcohol, at least one thickener and at least one acrylic polymer, but the composition does not comprise any organohalogen compounds, more particularly any organofluorine compounds. The present invention also relates to the use of such a composition for production of a foam extinguishant and to the use of the composition for fighting fires, especially for fighting fires of organic liquids, known as liquid fires.

The present invention relates to a novel liquid formulation for crop protection which comprises a) pyraclostrobin; b) at least one organic solvent S1 with a water solubility of less than 2 g/l at 20°C; c) at least one organic solvent S2 with a water solubility of at least 2 g/l at 20°C, where S2 comprises at least one solvent S2.1 with a water solubility of more than 200 g/l at 20°C and optionally at least one solvent S2.2 with a water solubility of 2 to 200 g/l at 20°C; d) at least one anionic surface-active substance SA1; e) at least one nonionic surface-active substance SA2; and f) water. The invention also relates to the use of the crop protection formulation for treatment of plants and seed, and to corresponding methods.

The present invention relates to a formulation comprising (a) at least one pesticide; and (b) at least one non-ionic surfactant of formula (I): R 1 -O-(AO) x -(H); wherein R 1 represents straight-chain or branched alkyl having 4 to 20 carbon atoms; AO is ethyleneoxy, propyleneoxy or a mixture of ethyleneoxy and propyleneoxy; and x correspond to values from 2 to 30; and (c) at least one ionic tristyrylphenyl alkoylate; and (d) at least one oil; and (e) water, wherein the pesticide is present in the aqueous phase in form of a suspension and the oil is essentially free of pesticide.
