    Abstract: A thermoplastic molding composition having good flame resistance, melt flowability, resistance to chemicals and creep is disclosed. The composition contains A) at least one member having weight average molecular weight (M w ) of 25,000 to 35,000 g/mol, selected from the group consisting of aromatic polycarbonate and polyestercarbonate B) ABS graft polymer produced by the mass polymerization process and characterized in (i) having a butadiene content of 8 to 15% in relation to the weight of the graft polymer, (ii) having an acrylic acid derivative content of 15 to 30% in relation to the total weight of the acrylic derivative and styrene monomer, and (iii) containing styrene monomer-acrylic acid derivative copolymer having a weight average molecular weight of 5.10 4 to 14.10 4 g/mol. The composition may further contain one or more of halogen-free phosphorus compounds, fluorinated polyolefin, a polymer containing acrylate monomer and an inorganic material in particulate form.

    Abstract: Providing a composition containing aromatic polycarbonate and/or polyester carbonate, graft polymerisate from (meth)acrylonitrile, butadiene, and at least one styrene monomer, obtained in a bulk polymerization process, halogen-free phosphorus compound, fluorinated polyolefin, polymer containing acrylate monomer, and finely divided inorganic materials. A composition containing (parts by weight): (A) aromatic polycarbonate or polyester carbonate or their mixtures (40-95); (B) a graft polymerisate from acrylonitrile and/or methacrylonitrile, butadiene, and at least one styrene monomer, obtained in a bulk polymerization process (5-40); (C) a halogen-free phosphorus compound (0-20); (D) fluorinated polyolefin (0.1); (E) a polymer containing acrylate monomer (0-5); and (F) finely divided inorganic materials of mean particle diameter at maximum 1000 nm, with the proviso that: (i) the polycarbonate or polyester carbonate has a mean number average molecular weight Mw of 25,000 to 35,000; (ii) the graft polymerisate under (B) has a butadiene content of 8-15 wt.% on the graft polymerisate and an acrylonitrile and or methacrylonitrile content of 15-30 wt.% on the sum of the acrylonitrile and/or methacrylonitrile and styrene monomer in the graft polymerisate B and styrene monomer/(meth)acrylonitrile copolymer of weight average molecular weight Mw = 5.104 to 14.104 g/mole. An Independent claim is also included for shaped parts obtained from the composition.
