    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and low-cost method for manufacturing a solid polyurethane molded product, especially a molded product with a thin wall and a complicated shape. SOLUTION: A diphenylmethane isocyanate is made to react chemically with an polyol component containing at least 30 wt.% of an amine-starting polyether polyol with a number average molecular weight of 149 to 999 g/mol and at least 25 wt.% of a polyether polyol with a number average molecular weight of 1,000 to 16,000 g/mol and maximum 80% of a primary hydroxyl group.     Abstract: Stable polyol dispersions for polyurethane mouldings contain ester-type release agents (c1) derived from (1) 10-40C fatty acid(s), (2) optionally di- or poly-carboxylic acid(s) and (3) a polyether-polyol component with ethylene oxide and/or propylene oxide units, showing an OH number of 200-1000 (preferably 400-800) and a functionality of 2-6, preferably 2-4. Stable dispersions of polyol formulations (I) for polyurethane mouldings, comprising (a) polyether-polyol(s) with an OH number of 350-1830 mg KOH/g and a functionality of 2-8, optionally containing up to 40 wt.% (based on a and b) polyester-polyols with an OH number of 250-500 and a functionality of 2-3, (b) optionally polyether-polyols with an OH number of 15-250 and a functionality of 2-6, (c1) ester group-containing release agent(s), (c2) amide group-containing release agent(s), (d) water or water and physical blowing agents, (e) activators, (f) stabilizers and (g) other additives etc. (components c2 to g are all optional). Release agents (c1) are derived from (1) 10-40C fatty acid(s), (2) optionally di- or poly-carboxylic acid(s) and (3) polyether-polyol component(s) with ethylene oxide (EO) and/or propylene oxide (PO) groups, showing an OH number of 200-1000 (preferably 400-800) and a functionality of 2-6, preferably 2-4, up to 50 equiv% of which may be replaced by other polyols without EO or PO units. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a method for the production of (I) by mixing the components (a-g) together; (2) cellular polyurethane mouldings obtained by reacting polyisocyanates with (I); and (3) a method as described above for the production of cellular polyurethane mouldings.

    Abstract: STORABLE POLYOL MIXTURES CONTAINING MOLD RELEASE AGENTS Polyol mixtures containing a mixture of internal mold release agents which are storage stable are made up of (a) from about 55 to about 95% by weight of a polyol mixture of (1) 30-70% by weight of at least one polyol with an OH value of more than 700 and (2) from about 30 to about 70% by weight of at least one polyol with an OH value of 700 or less than 700 and (b) from about 5 to about 45% by weight of a mixture of internal mold release agents made up of (1) from about 60 to about 95% by weight of at least one salt-like release agent and (2) from about 5 to about 40% by weight of at least one non-salt-like release agent containing an amide NH function or a urethane NH function. Known auxiliaries and additives may optionally be included. These polyol mixtures are useful in the production of rigid, semirigid and flexible polyurethane materials, particularly molded polyurethanes.
