Abstract: PURPOSE: To detect a specific connection reaction between a virus antigen and a complementary connection material by a method wherein a total absorption quantity of the virus antigen is increased by using a solid carrier treated by a sililation agent. CONSTITUTION: Firstly, a sample is placed on a melting condition to break all of the herpes viruses. The sample is brought into contact with a solid carrier which is derived from silane, then all of the broken herpes viruses are fixed to the solid carrier only by hydrophobic interaction. This product is brought into contact with a primary antibody which is specific to the broken viruses to form an immune antibody composite body. This product is brought into contact with a secondary antibody to which a mark is stuck to form a marked immune composite body and the marked immune composite body is detected.
