Abstract: PURPOSE: To minimize a noise of a detector with flexibility and ease by, with the use of a control panel which is based on icons comprising multiple function panels, controlling a system. CONSTITUTION: A change-over valve 4, and pump 10, column 18 and a detector 20 are provided, and the change-over valve 4 connects two liquids 6 and 8, according to a desired ratio, to the pump 10 for the first and second segment fractions X and Y, from a time period T. A value defined as T (new) is selected for the time period T, and the change-over valve 4 is operated by using the T (new), and the liquid 6 is connected to the pump 10 only for the first time period equal to T (new) *X, further, the liquid 8 is connected to the pump 10 only for the time period equal to T (new) *Y. Then, while the pump 10 is so operated as to, through a system, press-send the mixture of liquid 6 and 8, selection and operation with time period T (new) are repeated, so that the system is controlled for a minimum detector noise.
