Abstract: PURPOSE: To increase the ligand capturing site allowable capacity of a solid phase and to expand a ligand detection range in a sample by causing a biotin binding substance to react to a solid phase made of a solid support where antibiotin antibody is immobilized on the surface. CONSTITUTION: A binding species made into a biotinyl that is considered to form ligand specifical binding site is cultivated by performing immunity binding with ligand along with anti-biotin antibody that is immobilized on a solid support in a method for detecting ligand in a sample. More specifically, the solid, support is cultivated along with the sample and is cultivated along with a binding species that is considered to be immunity-binding with the ligand and a species that preserves a labeled substance that is selected out of ligand similar bodies and can be selected. Then, the labeled substance that is selected from a solution and the solid support and exists in phase is detected, thus increasing the ligand acquiring site allowable capacity of the solid phase and increasing the ligand detection range in the sample.
