Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a material for colored tires which comprises a cross-linking and colorable rubber composition containing an ionically cross-linking agent and a covalently corss-linking agent which forms free radicals, thus the product exhibits improved abration resistance, color and color stability. CONSTITUTION:(A) An ionically cross-linkable and covalently cross-linkable rubber, for example, hydrogenated styrene-butadiene rubber or the like is combined with (B) 10 to 90 wt.% of an ionically cross-linking agent such as a metal salt of carboxylic acid and (C) 10 to 90 wt.% of a free radical-forming covelently cross-linking agent such as a peroxide cross-linking agent.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve wear resistance, low rolling resistance and low hysterisis with good balance of characteristics required for tire by forming cross linked tread rubber including specified amount of ion cross linking and covalent cross linking. CONSTITUTION:Tread rubber including ion and covalent cross linking is prepared by a vulcanization process by using rubber such as conventionally used natural rubber, stylone-butadiene, and using metal giving ion cross linking and dimethacrylate peroxide giving covelent cross linking or sulfur cross linking agent mixture. The ion cross linking is specified to be 20-50% and also covalent cross linking is specified to be 80-50%. It is thus possible to improve wear, low friction and low hysterisis resistance with good balance of characteristics required for tire.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve controllability by including an addition agent which is suitable for rubber with specific tensile elastic modules in the elongation of 10% which is selected from natural rubber, synthetic rubber and a their blend. CONSTITUTION:Side walls 12, 13 for a pneumatic tire 10 can give the tensile elastic modules of about 30-200MPa in the elongation of 10% which is selected from a group made of natural rubber, synthetic rubber and a their blend. An addition agent which is suitable for rubber of about 20-80 parts by weight are included in the rubber of 100 parts by weight. The pneumatic tire 10 with these side walls 12, 13 shows an improved high cornering force factor so as to improve the controllability of the pneumatic tire.
