Abstract: A tire and a core body with rubber legs are properly mounted to a rim with no plastic deformation of the core body. After the bottom side of a pneumatic tire 14 in which a support body 16 is arranged in the interior is mounted to a rim wheel 11, a portion of the upper side bead 18 in the circumferential direction is pressed downwards with a bead presser 192 of an immobilizing part 180 in order to drop in the bead 18 of the upper side. Since a portion of the outer surface of the bead in the circumferential direction is pressed such that the bead presser 192 exerts force on only the rubber legs 28 of the support body 16 via the bead 18, great stress is not made to act upon the support body 16 and plastic deformation can be prevented. After that, the portion of the upper side bead 18 dropped in is designated as the starting point and pressing rollers are made to rotate around the rotational axis, whereby the entire upper side bead can be dropped in. The pressing rollers also press the bead 18 so as to exert force on the rubber legs 28 only via the bead 18 so great stress is not made to act upon the support body 16 and plastic deformation can be prevented.

Abstract: A tire wheel includes a pair of flanges (2,3) provided on both axial ends, respectively, a pair of bead seats (4,5) extending from the flanges axially inwardly, a well (6) provided between the bead seats and concaved radially inwardly of the bead seats, and at least one circumferentially extending hump (10) provided between the well and one of the bead seats and having an inclined surface (12) on the side of the relevant bead seat (5) and an inclined surface (13) on the side of the well (6) to form a top (11) as a boundary between both the inclined surfaces (12,13). The seat side inclined surface (12) is formed by part of a conical surface intersecting at an angle (a) of 5 DEG -35 DEG with a straight line (L) parallel with the tire axis. A concaved obtuse corner (14) is formed at a boundary between the seat side inclined surface (12) and the relevant bead seat (5).

Abstract: A tire assembling system and a tire assembling method capable of correctly mounting a core body with rubber legs on a rim together with a tire without elastically deforming the core body with rubber legs. In the method, the lower side of the pneumatic tire (14) in which a support body (16) is disposed is mounted on a rim wheel (11), and a part of an upper side bead part (18) is dropped by pressing downward a part of the upper side bead part (18) by the bead pressing part (192) of a pressing mechanism (180). Since the bead pressing part (192) presses the part of the bead part outer surface in the circumferential direction so that a force can be applied only to the leg parts (28) of the support body (16) through the bead part (18), a large stress does not act on the support body (16), and the elastic deformation thereof can be prevented from occurring. Subsequently, the entire upper side bead part can be dropped by rotating a pressing roller around a rotating axis starting at a portion where the upper side bead part (18) was dropped. Since the pressing roller also presses the bead part (18) so that a force acts only on the leg parts (28) through the bead part (18), a large stress does not act on the support part (16), and the elastic deformation thereof can be prevented from occurring.
