Methods and devices for measuring elongation, wear, and internal temperature of a conveyor belt to catch signs of conveyor belt failure such as breakage by detecting a magnetic field from a magnetic body by using a magnesium sensor, as well as a rubber magnet sheet as a magnetic body and a method of producing the sheet, the rubber magnet sheet being able to be used while it is embedded in the conveyor belt. To measure elongation of a running conveyor belt ( 11 ), a magnetic field of a magnetic body ( 2 ) embedded in the belt ( 11 ) is detected by a magnetism sensor ( 3 ) fixed to the earth, and elongation of the belt ( 11 ) is calculated from temporal variation of the detected magnetic field.

A carbon nanotube orientated composite formed by orientating carbon nanotubes in a given direction in a matrix having a heat conductivity lower than that of carbon nanotube, in which at least a part of carbon nanotubes are contacted with each other to be continuous from one end to the other end between both ends in the orientated direction, is provided as a material having a heat conductivity considerably higher than that of copper, aluminum or the like or a material to be disposed in rubber material having a low heat releasing characteristic to considerably improve the heat conduction, and also there are provided a method of producing the same as well as a pneumatic tire, a wheel for a vehicle, a tire-wheel assembly and a disc brake using this material.

A tire temperature sensor and a tire heat deterioration detection sensor capable of detecting a variation in the magnetic characteristics of a magnetic circuit structure or a composite magnet by a magnetic sensor for detecting magnetic field leaking from the magnetic circuit structure installed at the specific portion of a tire or a magnetic field from the composite magnet and formed so that the magnetic characteristics of the magnetic circuit structure or the composite magnet can be varied according to the temperature of the tire at the specific portion or the degree of heat deterioration, wherein the temperature of the tire at the specific portion is directly measured or the degree of the heat deterioration is directly detected by using the tire temperature sensor or the tire heat deterioration detection sensor so that an abnormality which may lead to the failure of the tire can be find out earlier, whereby the tire temperature sensor or the tire heat deterioration detection sensor capable of preventing a battery from being exhausted earlier can be provided.
