Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core which supports a tire from the inside when an internal pressure is decreased in the tubeless pneumatic tire. SOLUTION: This core is a core supporting a tire from the inside when an internal pressure is decreased in a tubeless pneumatic tire T, the core 10 is manufactured to be left as an annular unit to casting, heat treating and cutting work of an internal/external periphery and a side surface, the core is divided into a plurality of members, to be connected by a fastening member 30. Here, the core is constituted from an annular unit comprising a crown part 11, base part 12, support part 13, reinforcing rib, and a plurality of flange parts arranged with a space part in a peripheral direction. The annular unit is divided in a normal direction in the flange part, to form an arc-shaped unit made in a plurality of divided members, the fellow flange parts of the arc-shaped unit are integrally connected by the fastening member 30.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reliably discharge a drain without changing the fitting position of a discharge valve even if the car height is changed by directing the inversion section of a cylindrical body upward in a protruded shape and providing a drain discharge valve between the lower end of an outer cylinder section and an axle. CONSTITUTION:A car height adjustment unit 14 is arranged between an axle and a car body 12, and a fixed, closed hydraulic chamber 24 is provided in the cylinder 16 of the unit 14. An inversion section 42 is provided on the longitudinal, middle point of a flexible, cylindrical body 38; an inner cylinder section 40 and an outer cylinder section 44 are coaxially arranged; the tip of the outer cylinder section 44 is fixed to a drain pan 50; and a drain discharge valve 64 is provided on the drain pan 50. Accordingly, when the car body 12 is moved up and down, a car height detector 62 detects it, the pressure in a pressure air chamber 52 is increased or decreased to adjust the height automatically. The drain generated in the chamber 52 is discharged outside via a through hole when the chamber 52 is communicated to the outside.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic-tire core designed so that when the internal pressure of a tire has dropped, even in such a vehicle that great side forces are applied, its crown part is prevented from damaging the inner surface of the tire for enhanced longevity by taking the direction of application of the forces into account, and so that assembly of a circular body (segment) constituting the core is facilitated. SOLUTION: A pneumatic-tire core, which supports a pneumatic tire T from inside when the internal pressure of the tire has dropped, comprises a crown part supporting the tire T from inside, a base part forming the innermost part of the core along the radial direction, and a support part leading from the crown part to the base part to support the crown part, the support part having a curved cross-sectional shape involving the rotation axis of the tire, so that the support part is located on the outer part of the vehicle when the tire is attached to the vehicle.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to increase or decrease the spring constant of a pneumatic spring in a smooth and continuous manner, by changing the piston diameter under the operation of a fluid expansion/contraction means so as to constantly and surely obtain the effective diameter. CONSTITUTION:The opening of a hydraulic passage 6 is made at one or plural places on the outer surface of a contracted part 4. The pressure oil, which is supplied to or discharged from the hydraulic passage 6, goes into or comes out of a space 7, which is partitioned by an outer surface 4a of the contracted part 4 and an inner surface 5a of a flexible membrane 5. Accordingly, when the pressure oil is completely discharged from the space 7, the effective diameter of a pneumatic spring becomes D0, a minimum value, while, when the space 7 is filled with the pressure oil, the effective diameter becomes D1, a maximum value. Thus, the spring constant can be increased or decreased in a smooth and continuous manner.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make easy measurement of various behavior of automobile wheels possible by disposing a gummous elastic body between an inner and an outer cylinders of metal and also providing displacement detecting means so that they pass through the outer cylinder to directly measure the relative displacement of the inner and the outer cylinders. CONSTITUTION:A rubber or gummous elastic body 3 is fixed by vulcanizing adhesion to a metal inner cylinder 1 and a metal outer cylinder 2 disposed on the same shaft of an automobile wheel. Internal threads 4 are arranged in the longitudinal and circumferential directions of the outer cylinder 2 by leaving predetermined spaces and pressure sensors 5, displacement detecting means, are fixed by screwing them into the internal threads 4. The pressure sensors 5 are disposed so that the pressure sensing surfaces at their tips are connected to the outer periphery of the elastic body 3 and their lead wires are connected to a control unit to grasp various behavior of the wheel.
