    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable usage by a change into the conditions of a high temperature by integrally laminating a heat-resistant layer composed of an inorganic material and a sound-absorbing heat-insulating layer consisting of a synthetic resin foam and oppositely facing the heat-resistant layer to the high temperature side. CONSTITUTION:A heat-resistant layer (glass cloth) A consisting of an inorganic material and a sound-absorbing heat-insulating layer made up of a foamed material (a polyurethane foam) B are laminated integrally, and the heat-resistant layer A is faced oppositely to the high temperature side, thus forming sound- absorbing heat-insulating structure. It is favorable that structure, in which a metallic-foil reflecting layer (aluminum foil) C is laminated on the heat-insulating layer A composed of the inorganic material and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer D is shaped onto the outermost surface of the sound-absorbing heat- insulting material structure and release paper E onto the layer D so as to be advantageous in workability.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the sound absorbing characteristics to frequencies from a low region to a middle region without increasing the thickness of this sound absorbing material so much by laminating a synthetic resin foam having air permeability and an air encapsulated plastic film. CONSTITUTION:The air encapsulated plastic film 1 is stuck and laminated on the soft polyurethane foam 2 having air permeability. A plastic film formed into a two-layered or three-layered structure by sticking a flat back film to a cap film which is formed by using, for example, a high-pressure polyethylene and subjecting this raw material to vacuum forming, then encapsulaing the air into the cap is exemplified as the plastic film 1 described above. The sound waves propagate the fine holes in the cells and infiltrate the inside of the soft polyethylene foam when the sounds are made incident on this foam. At this time, the film plane induces vibrations and consumes part of the sounds when the sound waves come into contact with the cell walls of the thin film. Further, the viscosity of the air and the thermal loss by friction increase the attenuation of the sounds as well, thereby absorbing the sounds.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To lower sounds generated when a curtain is opened or closed by fastening a foaming sheet having a smooth skin layer on the surface thereof with a specified expansion ratio (low expansion ratio) on a running surface on which wheels run to hang the curtain. CONSTITUTION:A curtain rail made up of a combination of a curtain rail frame 1 and a plurality of wheels 2 to hang a curtain in the frame 1 is provided with a urethane foam (1mm thick) with a surface skin as skin layer at the part of a running surface 3 to function as soundproof layer. The polyurethane foam sheet has an expansion ratio two to ten fold, preferably two to five fold and obtained by mixing bubble by a mechanical agitation. The apparent density of the sheet herein used is 0.2-0.6g/cm , the hardness under a compression load of 25%, 0.2-4.5kg/cm , the cell diameter, 200mum or less and the friction coefficient by ASTM-D1894, 0.8-3.0.
