    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rubber composition for inner liner, capable of improving the airtightness in blend system of a halogenated butyl rubber and a diene-based rubber and realizing a compatibility of crack resistance to low temperature with air tightness, and provide a method for producing the rubber composition. SOLUTION: In this rubber composition for inner liners in which a rubber component comprises 5-40 pts.wt. diene-based rubber and 95-60 pts.wt. butylic rubber, carbon black (A) having >=90m /g specific nitrogen absorbing area and >=100cm /100g DBP oil absorption amount and/or a prescribed amount of layered filler is unevenly distributed in a region in which a diene-based rubber exists and carbon black (B) having /g specific nitrogen absorbing area is unevenly distributed in a region in which a butyl-based rubber exists.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire whose resistance to yielding of bead filter is improved and rolling resistance is reduced by highly establishing the compatibility between increased elasticity and crashworthiness of the bead filler rubber. SOLUTION: In a pneumatic tire in which the bead is equipped with bead filler rubber, the bead filler rubber is composed of 100 pts.wt. of a rubber component comprising natural rubber, synthetic rubber or a mixture thereof, 0.5-25 pts.wt. of a novolak resin softening at 90-150 deg.C, prepared by co-condensation reaction between (A) xylenol, (B) a phenol selected from phenol, cresol or their mixture where the molar ratio (A/B) is 25/75-75/25, and an aldehyde, and 0.5-25 pts.wt. of a compound which gives a methylene group with heat.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide high internal pressure keeping property and excellent coldness resistance by unevenly distributing a fluoride having alkyl group, on the rubber surface of a foamed part. SOLUTION: A foamed rubber composition is obtained by kneading a rubber component, foaming agent, fluoride having 1-20 pts.wt. of alkyl group to 100 pts.wt. of rubber component, and other compounding ingredients using a kneading machine such as a roll and a Banbury mixer, and then, heating the kneaded material. The obtained foamed rubber composition is used to produce a pneumatic tire. The fluoride having the alkyl group is low in the surface energy, and when the fluoride is blended in the foamed rubber composition, and foamed, the fluoride is unevenly distributed in the interface between the vapor phase part and the solid state part. That is, an inner liner is of the structure where bubbles whose surface is covered with the fluoride are distributed in the rubber component.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make compatible restraint of air permeation of an inner liner and an improvement of crack resisting tendency of the inner liner by mixing a specific quantity of wax with rubber composition for inner liner, in a pneumatic tire in which the inner liner is arranged on the innermost layer of the tire. SOLUTION: As for an inner liner arranged on the tire innermost layer of a pneumatic tire, 0.5-10 pts.wt. of wax against 100 pts.wt. of rubber content is mixed into the rubber compound for inner liner. By mixing wax with the inner liner in this way, the wax is formed into a crystal film 3 on the surface of the inner liner, it acts to restrain that air (oxygen and nitrogen) dissolves into the inner liner rubber, and it can prevent steel belt coating rubber or the like from oxidation-deteriorating. Further on the place where a crack generates, the wax is bloomed so as to form again a crystal film, and hence crack resistance can be improved.

SOLUTION: This is a rubber composition constituting a belt layer of a pneumatic radial tire having a treading surface, a pair of sidewalls and beads, a carcass ply reinforced by cords parallelly arranged in the directions of radius of the tire and a belt layer placed at the outside of the carcass ply in terms of the radius. The rubber composition is composed of 0.2-2 pts.wt. of a vulcanization accelerator of formula I or formula II (R and R are each H, an alkyl or an aryl; R and R cannot be H at the same time) based on 100 pts.wt. of a rubber component.
