SOLUTION: The conductive roller 10 is equipped with at least a core bar 1 and a foam layer 2 carried on the outer circumference of the core bar 1. The layer 2 contains a main rubber component (A) composed of ECO, EPDM and NBR and a sub rubber component (B) composed of liquid rubber as base material, and the content of the component (B) is 5-20 wt.% of the total amount of the components (A) and (B). Assuming that the component composed of ECO and EPDM of the component (A) is (A1) and the component composed of NBR is (A2), the component (A1) is ≥40 wt.% of the total amount of the components (A1) and (A2). The image forming apparatus is equipped with the roller 10.
