    Abstract: A method of manufacturing a conveyor belt having an elongate body made of uncured rubber and/or synthetic rubber. A polymeric parting material is placed adjacent to the upper and lower surfaces of the body, and heated platens are applied to the upper and lower surfaces of the body (i.e. belt material) to soften the adjacent upper and lower layer portions of the belt. This causes the softened belt material to flow into interstitial openings in the parting material. The resulting belt has the parting material squeezed into a thinner layer and embedded in the adjacent surface portions of the body of the belt. This provides a substantially uniform and reflectively soft texture surface.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize a polymer material becoming a part of the completed surface of a conveyor belt as a mold release material by bonding the mold release material and a belt surface part to a conveyor belt part and embedding the release material in the surface part adjacent to a main body. SOLUTION: A means for incorporating the upper and lower layers of a mold release material to be utilized in a belt layup is added to a belt producing work. The upper and lower rolls 56, 58 of the sheets of the mold release materials 60, 62 are provided just on the right side of rolls 32, 30. When the work line of the system functions so as to move the layup of a rubber layer and a cable to a vulcanizing press 34, these rolls 56, 58 are also rotated to send the upper and lower mold release sheets 60, 62 into the work region between platens so as to position them above and below the belt layup part in the vulcanizing press.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a conveyor belt hardly causing meandering and friction between the obverse/reverse surface of the belt and a support stand, in the conveyor belt to convey articles by moving in sliding on the plane support stand such as an iron plate. CONSTITUTION:In a conveyor belt in which the obverse/reverse surfaces of the belt to make sliding movement on a support stand on the opposite to the conveying surface of the conveyor belt are formed of an endless rubber like elastic body and wooven fabric exposed onto those obverse/reverse surface, the conveyor belt is composed in such a way that warps 3 of the wooven fabric point to the belt progressing direction and are exposed onto the obverse/reverse surfaces of the belt by crossing three to five wefts 4, that front edges, in the belt progressing direction, of these exposed warps 3 are formed of twilled non woven fafric on which meandering adjustment is carried out by pointing to both directions upward on left and downward on right, and that friction and meandering are hardly caused in the belt progressing direction in a space toward the support stand.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce sliding resistance and reduce noise by constituting a sliding layer contacting a supporting plate from the fibers having a thickness of at most a prescribed value and attaching the surface on the opposite side to the supporting plate, onto the covering layer, in a conveyor belt which shifts on the supporting plate and transports parts, etc. CONSTITUTION:A reinforcing layer 10 made of canvas, etc. is embedded into between the covering layers 12 and 14 made of rubber, etc., and a sliding layer 18 is attached through an adhesive layer 20 onto the surface of the covering layer 14 positioned on a supporting plate 16 side. The sliding layer 18 is formed of the fiber less than 420D. Therefore, the unevenness on the surface of the sliding layer 18 is reduced, and the sliding resistance can be reduced, and power can be reduced, and noise can be reduced.
