Abstract:
A rubber based composite material having a rubber composition and, adhered thereto, a reinforcing material having a coating film containing a metal or a metal compound capable of reacting with sulfur formed on the surface of the material, characterized in that the oxygen content in the coating film increases toward the reinforcing material in the thickness direction.
Abstract:
A transparent conductive substrate comprising a transparent base and an ITO film formed on the transparent base is disclosed which is excellent in acid resistance of the ITO film. The content of tin oxide in the ITO film is not less than 30 weight%. An electrode for dye-sensitized solar cells comprises this transparent conductive substrate and a dye-adsorbing semiconductor film formed on the ITO film of the substrate. Also disclosed is a dye-sensitized solar cell which uses such an electrode for dye-sensitized solar cells as a dye-sensitized semiconductor electrode. By increasing the ratio of SnO2 to 30 weight% or more, acid resistance is significantly improved. An alternate adsorption film formed on the ITO film by an alternate adsorption method is roughened by an acid treatment, thereby forming a replica layer. The dye-sensitized semiconductor electrode for dye-sensitized solar cells is obtained by forming a semiconductor layer on this replica layer.
Abstract:
A dye-sensitized solar cell of high power generation performance including a semiconductor film that can be formed at relatively low temperature is provided. A titanium oxide paste is applied onto transparent conductive film (2), and dried to thereby form a titanium oxide layer. Aqueous solution of peroxotitanic acid (11) is dropped on the titanium oxide layer, and heated. At this stage, the aqueous solution of peroxotitanic acid penetrates in part where any titanium oxide particles (10) are not adsorbed on the transparent conductive film (2), and this aqueous solution of peroxotitanic acid (11) reacts so as to form titanium oxide (11A). By virtue of the formation of the titanium oxide (11A) in interstices (s,t) between the titanium oxide particles (10), the linkages of titanium oxide particles (10) can be intensified to thereby realize an enhancement of power generation efficiency.

Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of measuring a contact angle that enables accurate measurement of the contact angle of each fiber even in a state where fibers form an aggregate like a tire cord. SOLUTION: In the method of measuring the contact angle, a droplet with a diameter of less than 10 μm is formed on one fiber of a fiber aggregate where a plurality of fibers with diameters of 10 to 40 μm are aggregated, and the contact angle of the drop is measured. The fiber is a filament for the tire cord, and the fiber aggregate is preferably the tire cord. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
