Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a manufacture of a module cover for housing an air bag in which light filler can be uniformly distributed in a molded module cover while its hollow shape is maintained without requiring preliminary melting and kneading operation and a pelletizing operation by an extruding machine. CONSTITUTION: A manufacture of a module cover for housing an air bag made of at least a thermoplastic material and a filler and provided with a tear line comprises the steps of quantitatively feeding the thermoplastic material and the filler, respectively from the material feed part 4 of an injection molding device 2 in which a screw 7 is arranged in a heating tube 3, melting and kneading them and measuring the amount of them in the heating tube 3, and injecting the measured kneaded material of the thermoplastic material and the filler into a mold K for molding.
