Abstract: a. Antiseismic device for buildings subjected to earthquakes. b. Antiseismic device characterised in that it comprises antiseismic supports of the rubber type 10 and dampers 1 arranged in parallel, the said antiseismic support of the rubber type 10 being formed by layering, one above the other, a plurality of rigid hard plates 11 and soft panels 12 with a visco-elastic characteristic, the said damper 1 being mainly composed of a visco-elastic material exhibiting the physical characteristics i and ii defined hereinbelow. i The hysteresis ratio (h50) is greater than 0.2 for a tensile deformation of 50% to 25%. ii The elastic modulus with accumulation effect E measured dynamically at a frequency of 5 Hz, a deformation of 0.01%, and a temperature of 25 DEG C is in the range of 9.806 Pa. c. The invention makes it possible to damp out vibrations over a wide frequency range.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce occurrence of local distortion, and diminish damage and rupture due to the local distortion, by forming the side end part of a hard plate into a shape which is swelled out to an outer side in a circular arc cross sectional shape or a circular arc analogous shape, and coating the outer surface of a laminated structural body with a coating rubber having weatherability. SOLUTION: In a base isolation rubber 20, flanges 4, 5 are arranged on the upper and lower surfaces of a laminated structural body 13 in which soft plates 11 such as rubber and hard plates 12 are alternately laminated. Parts brought into contact with the flanges 4, 5 are so formed that their cross sectional dimension are gradually increased toward the flanges 4, 5 and their outer surfaces are formed into curved surfaces which are curved in a circular arc cross sectional shape or a circular arc analogous shape to an inner side. The side end surfaces of the hard plates 12 are formed into the circular arc cross sectional shape or the circular arc analogous shape which is expanded to an outer side, and also the peripheral parts thereof are covered with a rubber excellent in weatherability, and the hard plates 12 are embedded in the inside of an outer layer. The edge parts of the hard plates 12 are smoothened, thereby, reducing stress or distortion generated in the parts of the soft plates 11 to a large extent.

Material used as the hard plate 1 is metal, ceramics, plastic, FRP, polyurethane, wood, a paper plate, a slate, a decorative plate, or the like with required rigidity, while material with the modulus of shearing elasticity of 9-20kgf/cm is used as the soft plate 2. Safety is thereby improved, and freedom of construction and design is heightened, so that an applied range can be enlarged by a large margin.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a base isolation structural body for light load suitable for a detached house or the like by bonding a plurality of hard plates having rigidity and soft plates having viscoelastic property alternately to each other to constitute a compound lamination body, and forming an inner part of the soft plate of a material of higher damping performance in comparison to an outer part. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of hard plates 1 having rigidity and soft plates 2 of rubber or the like having viscoelastic property are alternately bonded to each other to constitute a compound lamination body, and an inner part 2a of the soft plate 2 is formed of a material of higher damping performance in comparison to an outer part 2b. Accordingly, a base isolation structural body can be provided, having low spring rigidity and capable of exhibiting high damping performance, while sharing the spring rigidity to the outer part 2b and damping performance to the inner part 2a. Rubber used for the outer part 2b is desirable having excellent creeping performance even when having low damping performance, and it is also desirable that tanδ of the inner part 2a is not less than 0.3 and the 50% tensile modulus of the outer part 2b is 1.0-6.0kgf/cm .

CONSTITUTION: An elastic support body 3 formed that an elastomer layer 4 and a reinforcing plate 5 are alternately laminated together for integral formation is arranged between a foundation 1 and a structure 2, and the surface of the elastic support body 3 is covered with a high temperature heat insulation material 10. The high temperature heat insulation material 10 is formed that various ceramic fibers, such as alumina fibers, are molded as they are or after a binder is properly added. This constitution provides an aseismic base insulation supporting device to protect the elastic supporting body 3 during the occurrence of a building fire and be excellent in heat resistance and durability.
