    Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a reel with a bait clicker separately controlling the tension of a fish line in a bait clicker mode. CONSTITUTION: A spinning reel consists of a housing 21, a center shaft 70, a key stopping part on a center axis, a spool 31, a front drag 44, a hand crank, a rotor 30 which is connected to the hand crank by a transmitting means and mounted by freely rotating and a reverse preventing means. This spinning reel is additionally provided with a drag driver means, a means for giving resistance to the center shaft, a ratchet wheel, a click means generating an audible signal knowing the rotation of the ratchet wheel and a rear drag 46 with a locking means locking the rotation of the driver means and the center shaft in the state of being operate-engaged with the center shaft.

Grooves 142 at equal intervals are provided around the peripheral edge of ratchet wheel 136, and these grooves 142 and teeth 123 are engaged with a plunger 143 inside a pilot hole 151 of housing 21. A bait click spring 157 is intermittently engaged with the teeth 123 when rotating the ratchet wheel 136.
