Abstract:
A lighted bowling pinfall display panel located on the face a ball return lift hood for indicating to a bowler through the means of a light pattern which bowling pin remain standing after a ball has been delivered had indicator lights arranged to simulate pin spots and powered by a low voltage DC source mounted beneath the lift hood. Solid state circuitry mounted adjacent to the indicator light brackets controls the lighting of the panel lamps and is actuated by pin detection means.
Abstract:
This patent relates to the process of new camouflage. More concretely speaking, camouflage is made from fabric sheet coated by multi-colored layer. Color developing agent for film forming which is composed of undetermined irregular particle is used randomly on the flat surface of carrier web, and pre-selected portion of the web surface is coated with various agents, then color developing agent which represents different color from the formerly said color is overcoated on the uncoated web and precoated particle.

A combination incline exercise machine (100) includes a base structure (102) that defines an exercise position (116). A lever (154, 254) is provided on the base structure (102) for pivotal movement about an axis (150, 250). The axis (150, 250) is located between opposite end portions of the lever (154, 254). A handle (164, 264) is associated with the lever (154, 254) so as to be engaged by an exerciser to move the handle (164, 254) about the axis (150, 250) in an upward direction to a raised position and in a downward direction toward to a lowered position. A first connector (159, 259) is provided on one end portion of the lever (154, 254) to apply selectively a first resistance against movement of the handle (164, 264) in the upward direction. A second connector (158, 258) is provided on the opposite end portion of the lever (154, 254) to apply selectively a second resistance against movement of the handle (164, 264) in the download direction.

A Vee bottom planing boat hull (32) has right and left steps (44 and 46) positioned so as to optimize the boat's trim angle at top speed, and defining right and left notches (48 and 50) in which are pivotally mounted left and right tirm tabs (56 and 58) having forward leading edges (60 and 62) along oblique pivot axes (64 and 66) causing outer corners (102 and 104) of trailing edges (68 and 70) of the trim tabs to move downwardly more than inner corners (106 and 108) during downward pivoting of the trim tabs, providing an active hull to control boat trim angle and effectively reduce deadrise angle while maintaining a running surface trailing edge substantially free of discontinuities in the vertical direction.

Abstract:
A signal generator provides a non-linear fuel-control output signal, in response to an analog input-voltage signal which is linearly related to throttle setting. A multi-step switch divides into equal increments the full range of possible throttle-setting signals, and, in conjunction with a resistor network, provides a stepped output, the progression of which is a non-linear function of throttle setting. A dither circuit produces an oscillating sawtooth voltage of amplitude scaled to a one-step increment, and addition of this voltage to the throttle-setting voltage is effective to produce a smooth and effectively continuous non-linear output of the resistor network. A smoothing circuit at output of the resistor network yields a d-c output which is non-linearly related to the throttle setting . Non-linearity can be designed to various requirements merely by selection of component values in the resistor network, without change of the switch and without modifying or adjusting any of the componentry for input-signal supply to the switch.
