Abstract:
SE PRESENTA UN MIEMBRO ELECTROFOTOGRAFICO FOTOSENSIBLE QUE COMPRENDE UN SOPORTE CONDUCTOR Y UNA CAPA FOTOSENSIBLE DISPUESTA SOBRE EL SOPORTE CONDUCTOR. UNA CAPA SUPERFICIAL DEL MIEMBRO ELECTROFOTOGRAFICO FOTOSENSIBLE CONTIENE UNA RESINA DE POLICARBONATO QUE TIENE UN GRUPO DE FLUOROALQUILO DE CADENA QUE TIENE 4 O MAS ATOMOS DE CARBONO. EL GRUPO DE FLUOROALQUILO DE CADENA ES UN GRUPO TERMINAL DEL POLIMERO. ADEMAS, LA CAPA SUPERFICIAL TAMBIEN CONTIENE PARTICULAS DE UN COMPUESTO QUE CONTIENE ATOMOS DE FLUOR. TAMBIEN SE PRESENTAN UN APARATO ELECTROFOTOGRAFICO Y UNA UNIDAD DE DISPOSITIVO QUE COMPRENDE EL MIEMBRO ELECTROFOTOGRAFICO FOTOSENSIBLE.
Abstract:
A electrophotographic photosensitive member and an electrophotographic apparatus, a device unit and a facsimile machine using an electrophotographic photosensitive member which comprises a conductive support, a photosensitive layer and a protective layer, the protective layer containing resin formed by hardening a light-setting type acrylic monomer, and the photosensitive layer containing at least one compound selected from the group consisting of (A), (B) and (C) below: (A) styryl compounds having a structure expressed by the following formula (1) and a melting point not higher than 135 DEG C; wherein Ar and Ar are aromatic ring groups, Ar is a bivalent aromatic ring group or a bivalent heterocyclic group, R is an alkyl group or an aromatic ring group, R is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or an aromatic ring group, and n1 is 1 or 2, R and R possibly linking to form a ring when n1 = 1: (B) triarylamine compounds having a structure expressed by the following formula (2) and a melting point not higher than 150 DEG C; wherein Ar , Ar and Ar are each an aromatic ring group or a heterocyclic group: (C) hydrazone compounds having a structure expressed by the following formula (3) and a melting point not higher than 155 DEG C; wherein R is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, R and R are alkyl groups, aralkyl groups or aromatic ring groups, n2 is 1 or 2, A is an aromatic ring group, a heterocyclic group or - CH = C(R )R (R and R are hydrogen atoms, aromatic ring groups or heterocyclic groups, but will never be hydeogen atoms at the same time). The photosensitive member suppresses the occurrence of cracks during forming of the protective layer, has high durability, and is free from any image defects.
Abstract:
An electrophotographic photosensitive member 1 has a photosensitive layer provided on an electroconductive support with interposition of an intermediate layer, the intermediate layer containing a polyether-polyurethane and an electroconductive substance. An electrophotographic apparatus, comprises an electrophotographic photosensitive member having a photosensitive layer provided on an electroconductive support with interposition of an intermediate layer, the intermediate layer containing a polyether-polyurethane and an electroconductive substance. A facsimile apparatus comprises an electrophotographic apparatus and a receiving means for receiving image information from a remote terminal, the electrophotographic apparatus comprising an electrophotographic photosensitive member having a photosensitive layer provided on an electroconductive support with interposition of an intermediate layer, the intermediate layer containing a polyether-polyurethane and an electroconductive substance.
Abstract:
An electrophotographic photosensitive member has a support and a photosensitive layer formed thereon. The electrophotographic photosensitive member has a surface layer containing a charge-transporting material and a resin obtained by exposing to radiations a compound having an acryloyloxy group or methacryloyloxy group to cure.

Abstract:
An electrophotographic apparatus includes an electrophotographic photosensitive member; charging means for charging the electrophotographic photosensitive member including a charging member supplied with a voltage and disposed in contact with the photosensitive member so as to form a nip with the photosensitive member to charge the photosensitive member; exposure means; developing means; and transfer means. The photosensitive member includes a surface layer containing a charge-transporting material having an oxidation potential of 0.4 - 1.0 volt. Charging promoter particles are present at the nip between the photosensitive member and the charging member to injection-charge the photosensitive member. Because of the selection of the charge-transporting material and the presence of the charging promoter particles, the photosensitive member can be effectively injection-charged.
