Abstract: PURPOSE:To make the mechanism of the device simple by providing an automatic selective change-over means for allowing constant-length feed operation to be made by the rotating force of a winding system when no film is loaded in the camera. CONSTITUTION:When the shutter is released from the state of the figure, a lever 28 moves in the direction shown by an arrow, and a lever 28 turns clockwise, then its other end part 27a detaches from a notched part 24a and its end part 27a turns a switch 38 on. Then, a motor 31 runs to revolve a spool gear 9 and revolve a spool 10, but since no film is loaded, a sprocket 34 does not rotate. The revolution of the spool gear 9 revolves a gear 13 in the direction shown by an arrow by way of idler gears 11, 12, 13, then a disc 24 and a cam 25 are rotated by a one-way clutch 14b via gears 14, 17. As the cam 25 revolves, the shutter is charged and as the disc 24 makes 1 turn, the end part 27a of the lever 27 drops into its notched part 24a and all the operations end. At the same time, the switch 38 goes on, thereby cutting off the power supply to the motor 31.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To commonly use a drive source and as well to prevent an extra paper from being fed, in a paper feed system in a recording device, by providing a unidirectional transmission mechanism for inhibiting the rotation of a paper feed roller during a discharge roller discharging a recording paper. CONSTITUTION:When a motor M2 is driven to be rotated in the direction opposite to the direction C so that a discharge roller 124 is rotated in the direction B, a paper is discharged from between a platen 101 and a pinch roller 104. The torque of the motor M2 is in the direction opposite with respect to an one-way cluth for a paper feed roller 120 which therefore does not rotate, and therefore, no affection is made to papers in a cassette. Further after completion of the paper discharge, when the motor M2 is stopped while a motor M1 is rotated by a predetermined number of pulses in the direction D, the paper feed and discharge rollers 120, 124 are retracted. With this arrangement, both paper feed and discharge rollers 120, 124 may be driven by one and the same drive source M2, and as well no feed of extra papers occures.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to prevent the retraction of a meniscus, by performing the attachment of a cap while sucking air in capping by a pressure generating means, and providing time difference between capping release operation and pressure restoring operation. CONSTITUTION:When recording is finished, a gear 14 is rotated by a pulse motor 10 to revolve a lever 14a to right and a capping apparatus 11 is moved to the side of a head 1 by a spring 12 while, at the same time, a piston 7 is fallen by the leftward movement of a slide lever 15 to suck air around the capping apparatus into the upper part of a pump 4 through a tube 13. When capping is performed in this state, suction is stopped. In starting recording, capping is released by reverse operation but, in this case, flowline resistances of a piercing orifice 7a and a valve 7b are low as compared with the tube and, therefore, the back flow of air in the tube 13 is prevented. By this mechanism, the retraction of a meniscus is prevented and good recording can be performed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make a recorder compact, by using a recording paper conveyance driver to displace a discharge roller from a put-away position to a working position in the paper conveyance line of the recorder after recording, so that the quality of printing is kept from being affected by the position of the discharge roller. CONSTITUTION:The length of a conveyance passage extending from the discharge position of a discharge roller 124 to the recording position of a platen 101 is set to be shorter than that of recording paper. The discharge roller 124 is put out of the discharge position through a friction clutch 115 and a sector gear 118 by a pulse motor M1 which is originally for rotating the platen 101, while recording is being performed. When it is detected that the recording paper is moved out from between the platen 101 and a pinch roller 120, the pulse motor M1 is reversed to displace the discharge roller 124 to the discharge position, and an elastic roller 124a is rotated by a motor M2 to discharge the recording paper. According to this constitution, the accuracy of conveyance of the recording paper is maintained, the number of drivers is reduced, and a recorder is made compact.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To decrease the number of drive sources to make it possible to simplify the mechanism of a paper feed system in a recording device, by retracting a paper feed roller from its operating position by the drive force of a drive source for feeding a recording paper, before recording. CONSTITUTION:When a motor M2 is driven to rotate the rubber section 120a of a paper feed roller 120 the topmost recording paper alone is fed out, and a timer is simultaneously set. If the recording paper does not pass a paper sensor 101 just before a platen 101 within a predetermined time, the rotation of the motor m2 is stopped while a motor M1 is rotated in the direction D by a predetermined number of pulses, and therefore, the paper feed roller 120 and a paper discharge roller 124 are retracted by means of a gear 10, a friction clutch 115 and a sector gear 118 to carry out the disposal of paper jamming. If no jamming occures when the paper 101 is bit into between the platen 101 and a registering roller 103, the motor M1 is stopped, and then is rotated in the direction D by a predetermined number of pulses to be held at a printing position.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To constitute so that winding is inhibited when there is no electric power supply battery which is in a B.C. level or below by use of a signal of a member interlocked with a magnet in a camera, and replacement of the battery is informed to a user, by adding a simple clamping member to a member interlocked with a winding mechanism. CONSTITUTION:When a release member 1 is pushed against an operation of a spring 2, at first, an electric power supply switch 17 turns on. When the switch 17 is turned on, if a battery exceeds a B.C. level, a magnet 16 attracts an armature 15, and if it is in a B.C. level or below, said magnet does not attract the armature. When the release member is further depressed, at its final stage, another rise part 1e of the release member pushes the other end 7b of a clamping lever 7, release clamping to a running member 4, and the running member 4 descends downward by a spring 5. When the battery is in a B.C. level or below, the magnet has no attracting force, therefore, when a notched part 4b of the running member comes to a position of pawl 12a of a stopping member 12, the stopping member 12 rotates clockwise by a spring 13, enters the notched part 4b, and stops running of the running member 4.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent an electric shutter, whose shutter curtains are controlled by an electromagnet only in closing from too early operation, and to start shutter release operation after focusing ends. CONSTITUTION:When a main release plate 1 is pressed, the lower end 4b of a shutter operating plate 4 turns on a power switch. When the main release plate 1 is further pressed, a running plate 15 starts running to right and a lens barrel ring 21 also rotates by being coupled with it. When an electromagnet 27 is powered down by a in-focus signal, an AF control lever 23 stops the ring 21 at a focusing position. Then, the bent part 15c of the running plate 15 operates to lower the shutter operating plate 4, and shutter curtains start opening operation. Shutter operation is started prescribed time after the switch is turned on or after focusing ends, so early shutter operation and photography at an out-of- focus position are prevented securely.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make a recorder compact, by setting the distance between the discharge position of a discharge roller and a recording position to be shorter than the length of recording paper, and by keeping the discharge roller away from the discharge position while recording is being performed, in the paper conveyance line of the recorder. CONSTITUTION:The length of a discharge conveyance passage extending from the discharge position of a discharge roller 124 to a recording position between a platen 101 and a head 200 is set to be shorter than that of recording paper P. The discharge roller 124 is kept away from its discharge position while recording is being performed by a recording means 200. When the recording paper P is separated from the platen 101 and a pinch roller 104 after the recording, the separation is detected by a switch SW2 to return the discharge roller 124 into the discharge position to discharge the recording paper by the rotation of the roller. According to this constitution, a recorder is made compact, and the quality of printing of an image, characters or the like is kept high.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance containability and enable other apparatuses to be stuck up on the upper surface of a recorder, by a construction wherein the fitting of a cassette containing cut recording papers, the removal of a recorded recording paper and the fitting of an ink cartridge can be performed on the same side of a recorder. CONSTITUTION:On the front side of the recorder, the ink cartridge 12 is inserted-in with the ink-supplying side directed to the deep side, and when the ink is used up, the cartridge 12 is drawn out by oscillating a releasing knob 13 downward. A knob 14 is provided for releasing the pressing of a resist roller and a pinch roller against a platen, and serves effectively upon a trouble such as jamming of the paper. The rollers are again pressed against the platen by a resetting button 15. A paper-supplying cassette 17 can be fitted in position by inserting it into the printer, with a handle part 17a on the operator's side. An operating panel 6 is provided on the front side. Accordingly, since all of a fitting part for the ink cartridge, a fitting part for the paper cassette, a part for removing the recorded recording paper and an operating part are provided on the front side, operability is enhanced, and other apparatuses can be placed on the lateral sides, the upper side or the like of the recorder.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a recorder, facilitate replacement of a cassette and contrive to enhance operability and reliability of the recorder, by a method wherein, for example, the drawing out of a recording material from a cassette and the discharging of the recording material after recording are performed by the same mechanism. CONSTITUTION:At the time of replacing the cassette and at non-printing time, a friction member 7 is located at a home position A. In response to a recording- starting signal, the member 7 is moved in the direction of an arrow through a point B, and supplies a recording paper from the cassette 2 to a position between a platen 13 and a pinch roller 14 through a paper guide part 16. When the member 7 reaches a point C, a switch SW2 is turned ON to stop a motor 3, resulting in that the member 7 is in a non-contact condition with respect to the recording paper. When recording is completed, the paper is discharged through a guide part 17. When the member 7 comes to a position including a point D, the motor 3 is rotated by a recording completion signal, and the member 7 discharges the paper to the exterior while making contact with the non-recording side of the paper. Thereafter, the member 7 is returned to the point A, and a switch SW1 is turned ON to stop the motor 3.
