    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the drop of direct current resistance at the time of releasing a line for a facsimile equipment. SOLUTION: A disconnection relay 102 is provided between a line 110 and a polarity inversion detection circuit 101. Also, each driving port of the disconnection relay 102 and a HOOK voltage feeding relay 107 is controlled as a shared port by a controlling part 200. And, when the shared ports are on, the HOOK voltage feeding relay 107 connects a TEL terminal 108 to a PCI and HOOK supply voltage part 106 and the disconnection relay 102 connects the line 110 to the polarity inversion detection circuit 101. On the other hand, when the shared ports are off, the HOOK voltage feeding relay 107 connects the TEL terminal 108 to the line 110 and the disconnection relay 102 disconnects the line 110 from the polarity inversion detection 101. This prevents the TEL terminal 108 and the polarity inversion detection circuit 101 from being simultaneously connected to the lines 110.

The equipment 100 calls the equipment 200 through one connected line. After connecting the line to confirming the using situation of the connected line, the equipment 200 informs the equipment 100 of the number of an unused line. After confirming the number information from the equipment 200, the equipment 100 confirms the using situation of the connected line and calls through the use of the unused line. Then after the connection of the designated line, the equipment 100 divides data for each line and transmits it. The equipment 200 receives data from each line, integrates them into one data and then outputs it.
