    Abstract: PURPOSE:To simply effect the calibration by running a shutter screen, which is formed with a row of pores for screen speed measurement and with a slit, along a tester opening and a photo-coupler. CONSTITUTION:Between a lens 17 in front of a light source 16 and a tester light receiving unit 18, there are arranged drive rollers 3 and 4, which are turned through an electromagnetic clutch 2 by a constant speed motor 1, a tester 7 formed with an opening 13, brake side rollers 10 and 11 to be braked by an electromagnetic brake 9, and shutter screen guide plates 6 and 8 having a photo-coupler attahed thereto, thereby to make it possible to run the shutter 5 of an opaque material which is formed with a slit 14 and a row of pores 15 for screen speed measurement. With these construction arrangements, if the motor 1 and the clutch 2 are driven to turn the drive side roller 3, the shutter screen 5 is run at a constant speed so that pulse signals of preset period are genrated by the photo-coupler and the pores 15. After the measurements of the shutter screen speed are made, the shutter time is measured in response to the passge of the aperture 13 of the slit 14. After that, the brake 9 is operated to effect the braking action in response to the passage of the photo- coupler of the slit 14.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To compress the character pattern information of displayed character and to enable to recognize the displayed character, by providing the storage means storing the recognized object character, count means counting the number of ON-bit, and discriminating means discriminting the recognition object character. CONSTITUTION:Lead-in processing which seeks the corresponding display character on PM among the images of display section of electronic desk top calculator strored in the pattern memory PM, is made and the corresponding part is confirmed. Next, one of displayed characters among the displayed characters is read out from PM, and the ON-bit representing the part corresponding to the characters of the character pattern is counted. The characters to be recognized based on the data of ON-bit number are limited. Further, mask check is made and the character to be recognized is discriminated. Next, the checking of all the displayed characters for electronic desk top calculator is checked, and if NO, the next character is processed as mentioned above, and if YES, overall discrimination is made. If defective displayed characters are present, the defective goods discharge device NE is driven via the input/output circuit IO by treating it as NG to eliminate the electronic desk top calculator. If GO, the next calculator is inspected.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make possible easy and accurate characteristic measurement with simple constitution by measuring even the friction torque of a freely turnable measuring lever by means of the negative load moving force applied at one end and the interchangeable lens presetting force applied at the other end. CONSTITUTION:When a pin 6 is temporarily withdrawn by way of a solenoid 9, it is turned clockwise by a weight 2, and a lever 3 which is energized with the counterclockwise driving force by the spring 10 of a disphragm ring 4 of an intergengeable lens abutting on the other end stops because the lever 8 in one piece with said lever abuts on the outer side of the pin 6 and is thereby detained. Thence, when the pins 6, 7 are withdrawn, the lever 3 turns counterclockwise and the rotating speed of the lever 3 corresponding to the diaphragm mechanism characteristics is measured by means of a slit plate 5 and photocouplers 11, 12. On the other hand, the weight of a weight 2 is so adjusted that the friction torque by the turning speed detection becomes constant, by turning the lever 3 clockwise from the state that it is detained by the outer side of the pin 7 and is held stopped, in the state that the ring 4 is not engaged.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To achieve the miniaturization and automation of the apparatus by using primary photo detecting sensor arrays. CONSTITUTION:Primary photo detecting sensor arrays 13, 14 are disposed to the optical system including the lens to be examined and are connected to a signal selecting circuit 28 and timing control circuit 27. And the primary photo detecting sensor arrays 13, 14, signal selecting circuit 28 are operated by way of a timing control circuit 27 under controlling of a computer 29 to input the signals by a slit image 12 having distortions owing to the distortions of the face, striae, eccentricity, etc. of the lens to be examined having been formed in the primary photo detecting sensor arrays 13, 14 to the computer 20 via peak holding circuit 29, level comparator 32, calculation circuit 34, etc. These are then compared with the reference evaluation quantities having been obtained by measuring an ideal lens which becomes standard, whereby the optical performances of the lens to be examined are evaluated.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To measure image plane exposure simultaneously with the shutter speed of a focal plane shutter by providing slits in various parts of the image plane and transmitting the light passing therethrough to photo detector groups by means of optical fibers. CONSTITUTION:A diffusion liht source 101 of the uniform luminance, a camera body 103 mounted with a photographic lens 102 and a focal plane shutter 104 having front curtain, rear curtain and openings 104', 104'', 104''' at the running are disposed. A slit plate 105 is provided on the photosensitive face of the camera and further light diffusing plates 106 are disposed in close contact with the light incident faces of the respective slits and optical fibers 107. Hence, the quantity of light at each photo detector 108 linearly and since the linearity between these is maintained, the accurate measurement of the quantity of light may be performed. At the same time, the suitability of the shutter curtain speed and slit width may be tested.
