SOLUTION: A facsimile device 101 detects the attached file size of the electronic mail to be sent when image data read from a CF card are sent as the attached file of the electronic mail. If the attached file size of the electronic mail to be sent is above an allowance, a warning is displayed in a display part on an operation panel 213 while control is carried out for stopping dispatch of the electronic mail.
