Abstract: PURPOSE:To keep the quality of speech by improving the utilizing efficiency of a non-voice period and noise immunity by adopting the level of the amplitude of a transmission signal for the method detecting the section of a non-voice block in a conventional system at a receiver side so as to send a non-voice signal for a non-voice period. Through the constitution above, in place of provision of a period without no signal for the switching of the voice signal and the non-voice signal, a signal with a maximum amplitude decided in advance and the signal is switched by detecting the signal for the switching of noise and signal. Thus, noise immunity and ease of block identification and efficiency are implemented.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To effectively utilize a control channel by informing a state change at power application and interruption of a mobile set to a stationary set so as to limit a useless occupancy of the control channel. CONSTITUTION:A control section 308 discriminates the presence of other mobile set to which the arrival of a call is to be informed and designates other mobile set to which the arrival of a call is not informed when the other mobile set is in existence. Moreover, when other mobile sets are already noticed of the arrival of the call or the power of all the mobile sets to receive the arrival of the call is turned off, a call tone is outputted through a speaker 3B provided to the stationary set. Thus, even when the power of all the mobile sets is turned off, the power for the mobile set is applied after a call tone outputted from the stationary set is heard and the reply to the arrival of a call is attained by the mobile set.
