Abstract: A label hanger assembly (10) has a label sheet (12) with at least one hang strip cut out (14) therein, and in one embodiment, two hang tabs (14) are employed. The hang strips or tabs (14) are both integral with the label sheet (12) and engageable with a hook (28) of an intravenous (I.V.) stand. An adhesive coating (22) is applied to one side of the label sheet (12) in a pattern so that the hang strips or tabs (14) do not have adhesive (22) on any side thereof. The label sheet (12) adheres to the periphery of an I.V. bottle (26) near the bottom end thereof, and the engageable portion of the hang strips or tabs (14) engages with the hook (28) of the I.V. stand. Break-away ties (20) hold the hang strips or tabs (14) in place within the label sheet (12) prior to a user pulling hang strips or tabs (14) out of the label sheet (12). A backing sheet (24) with a release coating (22) is provided for either one label sheet (12) or a plurality of label sheets (12) to be releasably mounted thereon prior to being adhered to an I.V. bottle (26) either manually by a user or mechanically in a high-production basis.
