    Abstract: A nano-electromechanical filter. The filter includes, on a substrate, at least one microtip extended by a beam-shaped nanostructure. The microtip and the nanostructure are at least superficially conductive. The nanostructure forms a resonator. At least one input electrode and at least one output electrode are formed on an insulating layer, on both sides of the axis of the microtip, in the vicinity of the apex of the microtip. The input electrode receives a signal to be filtered and the output electrode provides a filtered signal. The filter can be particularly applied to wireless communications.

    Abstract: The purpose is to make possible the label-free, stable, continuous, and easy detection of a reaction between a reagent and a filament-shaped biomolecule or polymer bridging between a pair of electrodes. To this end, there is provided a molecule detection system for detecting a reaction with a reagent within a liquid 37 of a molecule captured between electrodes, the system being equipped with: a detection device that is provided with a pair of electrodes, and with which it is possible to measure the resonance frequency and amplitude of the electrodes; a microfluid device 30 that is provided with a microfluid flow passage 36 including on a side surface thereof an opening part 36c in which is formed a gas-liquid boundary surface through which the electrodes can pass; a pressure-control microfluid pump 33 connected to an outlet 36b of the microfluid flow passage; a movable holding platform for holding the detection device or the microfluid device 30 in a movable manner; and a control device for controlling the detective device, pressure-control microfluid pump 33, and movable holding platform.

    Abstract: A DNA can be easily and surely detected without using any marker such as a phosphor by bridging paired electrodes in a detection device by an extended DNA and then determining the properties of the DNA bridging the bump electrodes. For this purpose, provided is a method for detecting a DNA using a detection device equipped with at least a pair of electrodes, said method comprising: fixing primers to the electrodes; immersing the electrodes in a solution containing a circular template of a single-stranded DNA; annealing the circular template; and forming a single-stranded DNA product by the rolling circle amplification (RCA) method to thereby bridge the electrodes, to which a preset voltage is applied, by the extended DNA; and then determining the properties of the DNA bridging the electrodes and containing a plurality of single-stranded DNA molecules.
