Abstract:
The insecticide composition is less toxical towards warm-blooded animals and useful parasites and is therefore much less harmful to the environment. It contains as active ingredient from 0.001 to 99% by weight synthetic pyrethroid of the formula wherein X stands for chlorine or bromide, namely out of the eight possible isomers at least 95% of a 55:45 - 25:75 mixture of the enantiomer-pairs Ia:Ib, wherein Ia is 1RcisS + 1ScisR and Ib is 1RtransS + 1StransR if desired, in admixture with an activator and/or with an amount of up to 100% of an auxiliary agent preferably an antioxidant, stabilizer, wetting agent, emulsifying agent, dispersing agent, antifoam agent, diluent, carrier and/or filler.
Abstract:
The subject of the invention is a method for the preparation of the composition of synthetic pyrethroide isomers. The composition contains enantiomer pairs 1RCisS, 1SCisR and 1RTransS, 1STransR. Oily melt or a saturated solution of enantiomer pairs in lower alcohol or mixture thereof with lower halogenated hydrocarbon and/or lower alkyl ether is supplemented with a seeding crystal consisting of a mixture of the enantiomer pairs 1RCisS and 1SCisR and 1RTransS and 1StransR. Thereafter the crystallization is carried out followed by separation of the precipitated crystals consisting solely of the enantiomer pairs 1RCisS and 1SCisR and 1RTransS and 1StransR.

Date Jul. 31, 1986.According to the present invention there is provided a synergistic insecticidal composition containing more than one active ingredients and being harmless to environment characterized by comprising in an amount of from 0.001 to 99% by weight a synthetic pyrethroid of the Formula /I/ (I) namely substantially only the 1RtransS and 1StransR entantiomer-pair /Ib/ out from the possible eight isomers-optionally in admixture with an amount of up to 100% by weight of one or more activator/s/ and auxiliary agent/s/, particularly antioxidants, stabilizing agents, wetting agents, emulsifying agents, dispersing agents, antifoam agents, dileunts and/or fillers. The enantiomer-pair Ib consisting of the 1RtransS and 1StransR isomers is new and the invention also relates to the said new enantiomer-pair and a process for the preparation thereof. The advantage of the insecticidal composition of the present invention is that it is less toxical towards warm-blooded animals and useful parasites and is therefore much less harmful to the environment.

Date Nov. 24, 1983.The invention relates to new 2,3,4-trinor-1,5-inter-m-phenylene-PGI2 derivatives of the formula (I) wherein A stands for carboxy, cyano, tetrazolyl or -COOR3 or -CONR1R2; R3 is C1-4 alkyl or an equivalent of a pharmacologically acceptable cation: R1 and R2 each stands for hydrogen, phenyl; C1-5 alkyl, optionally substituted by carboxy, hydroxy, phenyl or C2-5 alkoxycarbonyl; or C1-4 alkylsulfonyl; or R1 and R2 together form an alpha , omega -alkylene chain containing 3-6 carbon atoms; B stands for oxygen or methylene; Y is optionally bromo-substituted vinylene or a -C 3BOND C- group: R4 stands for hydrogen or tetrahydro-pyran-2-yl; R5 represents an alkyl group containing 5-9 carbon atoms, which can be optionally interrupted by one or more oxygen atom(s) or -CH=CH- or -C 3BOND C- group(s) and/or optionally substituted by halogen; or a phenyoxymethyl group optionally substituted by halogen or trifluoromethyl; or an alkenoyloxymethyl group containing 3-5 carbon atoms; R6 is hydrogen or C1-4 alkyl; R7 stands for hydrogen, halogen, cyano, C1-4 alkyl or C1-4 alkoxy; R8 is hydrogen, halogen, cyano, nitro, hydroxy or C2-5 alkanoylamido; with the proviso that if R5 stands for an alkyl group containing 5-9 carbon atoms which is unsubstituted or not interrupted by an oxygen atom or a -CH=CH- or -C 3BOND C- group; or a phenyoxymethyl group optionally substituted by halogen or trifluoromethyl, then either R7 or R8 is other than hydrogen, or A is other than carboxy or -COOR3 and a process for the preparation thereof. The new compounds of the Formula I exhibit prolonged cytoprotecting and aggregation inhibiting and a low hypotensive effect and are superior to prostacycline in the prolonged duration of their activity.
Abstract:
(2,2-Dimethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline-4-yl)-methylsulfonic acid and the ammonium, alkali metal, alkali earth metal and zinc salts thereof are disclosed. The new compound and its salts are superior antioxidants useful to stabilize animal feedstuffs containing biologically active substances which are sensitive to oxidation.
