Abstract:
Equipment for detecting, on the basis of two consecutive tests, the existence of one or several telegraph channels on one or several telephone channels of a frequency multiplex system. The first test, which is relatively fast, is based on the presence of a predetermined frequency in the channel. The second test, which is slower in operation, is based on the amplitude identity of two moments, formed by alternate transitions in the transmission signal.
Abstract:
The interconnection means are used to connect n input data transmission paths with n output data transmission paths, each of the output paths being able to be connected to one of several possible input paths. Each of n input selectors have one input and several outputs and are connected respectively to the input paths, while n output selectors each have several inputs and one output and are respectively connected to the output paths. A point of connection between one input path and one output path is provided by a cable section directly connecting one output of the associated input selector and one input of the output selector associated with the output path.
