Abstract: Système d'articulation et de gestion pour central de télécommunications dans lequel l'échange de messages entre un processeur et les mini processeurs frontaux est réalisé par des coupleurs implantés dans le processeur et les mini-processeurs frontaux ; les coupleurs sont en relation par l'intermédiaire d'un bus-silo. Les coupleurs comportent une logique propre permettant des échanges d'informations réalisés par accés direct mémoire au niveau du processeur et par mode programmé en mot à mot au niveau des mini-processeurs frontaux.

Abstract: The device comprises three linkage zones: zone I consisting of a connection network, terminating equipment, detectors/transmitters of local, remote information, zone II consisting of miniprocessors connected to the units of zone I and programmed independently, zone III consisting of a central processor and a maintenance processor each associated with a memory, and each connected to the miniprocessors of zone II. The exchanging of messages between the central processor (PC) or the maintenance processor (PM) of zone III and the front-end miniprocessors (MPF1 to MPF4) of zone II is carried out by way of couplers built into the processors and the miniprocessors, each coupler being connected to a silo bus, bs1 or bs2. Each front-end miniprocessor includes a front-end dialogue coupler (CFD1) connected to a central dialogue coupler (CCD1) of the central processor, and a front-end dialogue coupler (CFD2) connected to a central dialogue coupler (CCD2) of the maintenance processor. Each coupler, front-end or central, includes suitable software allowing information exchanges carried out by direct memory access at processor level, and by word by word programmed mode at front-end miniprocessor level. Dialogue between the central processor and the front-end miniprocessors is undertaken by exchanging messages composed of a maximum of 16 words of 16 bits.
