Abstract:
An acidic thickened composition which is sprayable and readily clings to vertical walls and is effective in removing heavy encrusted lime scale and soap scum.
Abstract:
An improvement is described in compositions which is especially effective in disinfecting the surface being cleaned and in the removal of oily and greasy soil which contains at least one nonionic surfactant and/or an ethoxylated glycerol type compound, a hydrocarbon ingredient, a water soluble solvent, a bactericide and water.
Abstract:
An improvement is described in the liquid crystal composition or the microemulsion compositions more environmentally friendly, which is especially effective in the removal of oily and greasy soil and having an evidenced grease release effect, contains an anionic detergent, an ethoxylated glycerol type compound, a hydrocarbon ingredient, and water which comprises the use of a water-insoluble odoriferous perfume as the essential hydrocarbon ingredient in a proportion sufficient to form either a dilute o/w microemulsion composition containing, by weight, 1 % to 20 % of an anionic detergent, 0.1 to 50 % of a cosurfactant, 0.1 % to 10 % of the ethoxylated glycerol type compound, 0 to 1.0 % of an aldehyde, 0.4 % to 10 % of perfume and the balance being water.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an aqueous gelled cleaning composition which is useful for the removal of grease or tar without any mechanical action. In particular, the instant compositions are derived from three liquid phases which merge together at the tricritical point to form one continuum forming the gelled aqueous cleaning composition, wherein the three phases incorporate at least a polar solvent, a non-polar solvent or weakly polar solvent and a water soluble or water low molecular weight water dispersible amphiphile and the composition contains a noncross-linked polymer.

Abstract:
An acidic hard surface liquid detergent with desirable cleansing and antibacterial properties comprises a C8-18 anionic surfactant, nonionic surfactants, a cosurfactant, water insoluble hydrocarbon, essential oil or perfume, a hydroxy aliphatic acid and/or salicylic acid and water.
