    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a communication cable connector, comprising: a body, comprising a first end portion for accommodating a first communication cable, a second end portion for accommodating a second communication cable, and an intermediate portion, wherein the intermediate portion includes at least one slot, wires of the first communication cable and the second communication cable can respectively extend from the opposite two ends to below the at least one slot of the intermediate portion; at least one metal connecting element can be inserted into at least one slot of the intermediate portion and contacted with the wire of the first communication cable and the wire of the second communication cable to connect the first communication cable and the second communication cable; and a pressing element, which can be installed on the body to apply pressure to the at least one metal connecting element, and/or to apply pressure to the first communication cable and the second communication cable. The communication cable connector of the present disclosure has such merits as simple structure, fewer components, and no need for additional connecting members.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a passive fiber optic cabinet and a system for detecting a state of a door of a passive fiber optic cabinet. A passive fiber optic cabinet is provided, comprising: a housing; a door coupled to the housing and configured to be switchable between an open state and a closed state; a switch sensor module including a detection fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensor and a stress applying mechanism corresponding to the detection FBG sensor, the stress applying mechanism configured to apply a stress to the detection FBG sensor, one of the detection FBG sensor and the stress applying mechanism being positioned at the door, and the other of the detection FBG sensor and the stress applying mechanism being positioned at the housing.
