Abstract: Techniques for optimizing antenna parameters of a radio configured to transmit on spectrum shared by incumbent user(s) are disclosed. The incumbent user has priority to use the shared spectrum over the radio. The antenna parameters are optimized to reduce interference to incumbent user(s) and/or other radios utilizing the shared spectrum whilst maintaining satisfactory coverage area.
