    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a mechanism capable of efficiently and surely operating band width of extremely wide frequency without imposing any synchronization constraint to a data channel to be transmitted. SOLUTION: Input (3) and output (4) are included in a memory (2) for storage of data, the data is inputted as an input data (Pin) stream under control of an input timing signal (XIN) in the input (3) and the data stored in the memory (2) is read as output data (Pout) under control of a reconstruction timing signal (XOUT) from the output (4). The input timing signal (XIN) is used as an input signal and a corresponding output signal (XOUT) with locked phase is generated by a phase locked loop (7). The reconstruction timing signal is obtained from the output signal of the phase locked loop output 7. A means (8) to measure drift transfer of the remaining phase is provided and affects to a transmission functional band of the phase of the phase locked loop output (7) (23, 9, 10). The means is preferable without using any ring filter.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for transmitting a digital stream using a simple method by dividing the digital stream into a plurality of streams at a low bit rate. SOLUTION: An input digital signal stream (Ia) is divided into a plurality of derived streams (Ib) (10) and transmitted to respective transmission links (R). The transmitted derived streams (Ic) in this way are bound again (20) to form an output digital signal stream (Id). A transmitter end inserts a symbol to the derived streams (Ib) simultaneously at a prescribed time interval (T), in order to have an equal duration period and to divide transmission information to packets whose transmission time is arranged at transmission. Symbols relating to the transmitted derived streams (Ic) are in general temporally shifted as a result of the transmission through various transmission links (R) at a receiver end. In order to arrange the time of the received various derived streams (Ic) at the receiver end (20) as the original streams, the symbols are temporally arranged as in original state and succeeding binding is applied to the streams which are arranged correctly in time.

The derived streams transmitted in this way (I c) are then bundled again (20) to form a stream of outgoing digital signals (I d). At the transmission end, symbols are inserted into the derived streams (I b) simultaneously and at constant intervals (T), in order to subdivide the transmitted information into packets of equal duration and aligned in time when being transmitted. At the reception end, the above symbols associated to the transmitted derived streams (I c) are generally time-shifted as a consequence of the transmission over the various transmission links (R). At the reception end (20) the time alignment of the above symbols is recovered so as to recover the time alignment of the various transmitted derived streams (I c), so that the subsequent bundling can take place on the streams correctly time-aligned.
