    Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain the magnification converting processing, to make the hardware constitution easy and to attain high speed processing by dividing a picture so as to increase or decrease the number of picture elements by 1 when the magnification conversion is processed. CONSTITUTION:The dividing picture element number from a data input section 100 is set respectively to sub and main scanning direction control circuits 102, 103 through signal lines 107, 108 in synchronizing with a clock signal of a picture data transfer control circuit 101 respectively. The circuit 101 outputs a picture transfer request signal 112 by the number of picture elements in a picture except at the picture element insertion and removal in main and sub scanning directions, and a picture data transfer circuit 104 transfer the picture data for one picture element's share corresponding to a signal 112.     Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the size and cost of a color picture recorder by scanning optical beams from a plurality of semiconductor lasers disposed in an array on a ribbon coated with various types of heat sensitive inks in stripe state to impart fluidity and sublimation thereto. CONSTITUTION:Optical beams from a light source 1 in which light emitting points 7g, 7b, 7r of a plurality of semiconductor laser elements driven independently on the same wafer are formed via a collimator lens 2 in parallel beams, are reflected and deflected via a rotary polygonal mirror 3, and a spot is formed on a transfer ribbon 5 through a focusing lens 4. Thus, the dye adhered to the ribbon 5 is transferred to a recording sheet 6. Green dye 5g, blue dye 5b and red dye 5r are coated in stripe stage in lateral direction of the transfer ribbon 5, and the optical beams of the respective light emitting points 7g, 7b, 7r are scanned (deflected) on the dyes 5g, 5b, 5r.
